I haven't used them under load, but the quality looks and feels good. I'm down on a few 50kn carabiners for lifting and moving in tree work. Theses are rated to a similar level and a lot cheaper.

for years i’ve had one of those tow ropes with the hooks on the ends. in about 20yrs i’ve used them maybe 4 times to help pull people out of ditches and muddy fields. my latest car has a towball. yaay! no more hooking onto the chassis or suspension. boo, hook is waay too small to fit around the towball.these bow shackles are just the job! they’re big enough to fit over a towball, and the shackle bolt fits through the hook on the tow rope. they look huge & solid enough that i don’t think they’ll buckle whatever i try to pull!all i need now is some poor sap in distress to try them out on!

Nachdem ich ein liegengebliebenes Auto nicht abschleppen konnte, weil mein Abschleppseil viel zu dick war um durch die Öse zu passen, dachte ich mir ich muss da mal was finden das sich leicht anbringen lässt wenn das mal wieder passiert. Vielleicht sind diese Schäkel ein paar Dimensionen zu groß, aber wer weiß schon wann man damit aushelfen kann, wenn mans hat kann man ja auch was damit machen.Sie wirken sehr robust, ob der Lack was hält werd ich rausfinden wenn sie dann mal Verwendung finden, wollte damit jetzt nicht die Kontinentalplatte zertrümmern nur um das rauszufinden.Die Gewinde sind frei genug das auch meine zarten Finger die Bolzen rausdrehen können, fühlt sich insgesamt auch gut an und in Schwarz-Rot sieht das sogar echt gut aus.Ob der Preis für ein bisschen gutes Metall und Farbe gerechtfertigt ist?Keine Ahnung, wenn man aber schon im stau steht kann man damit auch etwas Hanteltraining machen, also würd ich sagen das passt schon.
