Nixplay Seed 13.3 inch Digital WiFi Photo Frame - Black (W13B)

I bought this frame for a bit of DIY surprise. As no other frame had same knowledge on the market I paid the rather hefty price tag. The box and packing was matching with the price tag but it is just a show off and pointless increase of our carbon footprint. More importantly the device itself also feels nice and made from quality plastic.After turning on started to come the hiccups... it only can be setup by the remote control so good luck changing the WiFi parameters and migrate the frame if you lost the tiny remote...During setup it frozen few times... with no sign of life... called support but no support in mid week mid day... than when I decided it will be sent back for 5th trial it started to work and I managed to get it synchronised with my phone. For further disappointment social media integration from desktop browsers only... come on are we kidding???It took quite a while to get trough these troubles but once the pictures came trough it was worth it. It has a beautiful nice vivid colours and the phone app up once the pictures are set works perfectly.It think this will be an excellent frame in the future but there are many imperfections for now. For this price tag I was assuming full functionality.Positives:- Beautiful vivid pictures- Once it is set up easy to add and manage picturesNegatives- Hefty price tag- Can not be wall mounted (ok this wasn’t an issue for me)- Install process annoyingly slow with no feedback- Customer support non existent- App can not handle links with FB, Insta and Google- Only few basic option to change picture display modes- Alexa app completely useless CAN NOT TURN OFF/ON the frame- Relatively small (4G) storage space for this price- No SD card extension- Initial setup only works with remote- No integration with Sinology servers

Very annoying lack of features. No SD slot, can't upload mass email addresses to invite from contact list. Have to invite one at a time. If a friend or family member has not been invited, then they get a message saying they are not approved to send photos. Even invited people don't seem to be able to email photos to the frame unless they download and activate the App. Mains lead connection comes out of socket when moving frame. Overall, seriously overpriced for a very average product. Had I not already installed it for my 92 year old mother I would be sending it back and waiting for Pixstar photo frame which was out of stock at the time I needed it.

Fantastic customer service. Just lost the remote after more than a year. Gave them a call and a man named Errol answered straight away and said he would send me a new remote for free. Whole call took less than 5 mins. Could not have been more helpful. Also the product has worked perfectly for the last year and it's been on the whole time. IPS LCD gives it accurate colours so the pictures always look the same as on a colour accuracte monitor. Perfect way to enjoy photos without printing!

Worked ok for 3 months. Trying to get in touch with customer support as it’s no longer working and no help at all

Bought 3 in the end. Just email photos to the frame and they end up on grandparents digital frame.
