It perfectly fitted my late 2013 15in MacBook pro and is working well.Installation was straight-forward, although removing the old battery and cleaning the residual adhesive is time-consuming (use string or a strong nylon thread to cut through the pads). The kit also came with the screwdrivers needed to take the bottom off the MacBook. Note where the screws come from, as two of them are slightly shorter than the rest. The adhesive pads to stick the battery in place were easy to use, and no issues with them.

It arrived promptly and was very well packaged.However, this product is let down by its adhesive strips (see photo). Removing the protective covering leave most strips attached to the covering and it's impossible to transfer them back. Rather than a film it's like a thick acetate which I'm guessing is to keep the cells in place as the cell connections are its vulnerable point whilst handling.As I needed this urgently I went ahead and installed it anyway and so far it has charged correctly and diagnostics report everything functioning as expected. Only time will tell as to its longevity.

The battery seemed to be good quality, it was easy enough to install. I was suffering from my battery dying after 1 hour and not being plugged in. when I switched on the laptop the battery instantly had a 'service' warning showing and the battery did not last any longer that one hour. I would then take up to 3 hours to fully charge. This does not all so take into account the laptop getting very hot which as made me not actually use it until I either get a OEM battery fitted or order a new laptop. The battery sticks into the case very good and will take some effort to remove again.

Don't waste your money and time buying one of these batteries. I suspect this is old stock that has been sat on the shelf for years. I cycled the battery a number of times, as per instructions and I'm lucky if I get 2hrs, which is actually worse than the battery it replaced!

Removing the old battery was a bit fiddly but I used a length of fishing line tied to two wooden handles to slice through the old adhesive fairly easily, with an extra pair of hands holding the computer steady during this process. Removed all traces of the old adhesive and unlike several other reviewers, the adhesive on the new battery was fine and fitting it was easy.Works perfectly so far, so seems to be very good value, but only time will tell.

So glad I watched some youtube videos rather than just following ifixit's lengthy guide. There's no need to strip the entire machine down to swap battery.I just used plastic tools to pry the old battery off slowly, no chemical remover or string etc. and it came off very cleanly and pretty quick. Only difficult bit was the middle pair that pulled the metal sheet underneath them up - I realised this wasn't part of the battery and managed to push it back down (worried I might have damaged the trackpad, but all good).I briefly connected and tested the new battery before sticking down and it booted up fine.I didn't have any of the issues other reviewers have mentioned about the sticky back not working, in fact the plastic cover came off easily and the battery stuck down perfectly.I've included a screen shot of the battery info in system information.So far, all seems excellent. I'll update if the battery has any issues.==UPDATE==Only 17 cycles and already power is down to ==> Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 7477.It seems to lose power very fast and takes long time to charge.Also seems to lose most of it's power when asleep unplugged. I'll reset SMC and see if that helps.Guess you get what you pay for.

This kit comes with everything you need to change a baterry.

Went down to 50% health after only about 2 months of use.Not very secure either as it started rattling around within a few days (the adhesive tape is not very adhesiveAs a plus it is cheap but then again you get what you pay for.Not recommended.
