About the Author Shigeru Sasajima is a professor of English at Saitama Medical University in Japan. He earned his PhD at the University of Stirling in Scotland. He is currently interested in teacher cognition, CLIL, and ESP, and has been committed to the development of RLD (Regional Level Descriptions) for the CEFR in Japan.
