I bought this to attach a Blackmagic Video Assist to a DSLR cage. I really like how solid this mount is, but I find it very hard to tighten enough on a cold shoe for it to be really secure. The knurling on the two tightening disk is not that aggressive and the disks don't protrude enough to get a good grip on them for tightening. I can crank it down pretty hard and then find that my Video Assist still slides slightly on the cold shoe after a bit. Too bad since it is well made otherwise.

I own three of this wonderful well designed and made adjustable mount.I don't understand how other buyers can't figure out how to use this user friendly piece or at least improvise.This mount suits well on anything I own. Camera, lighting, monitors. You can adjust the tension with the included hex. I tried many adjustable mounts and this is the winner. Very reliable, strong and very aesthetically designed.I recommend it!!

Perfect for smaller products. As far as monitors and other bigger products can’t back it up. It’s built nice, but still feels wobbly when using, even after tightening all the way. Can’t trust my átomos recorder in it. Rather just buy a cage.

I was hesitating to buy this product because there was no review. Well now you have it! It’s very small and yet sturdy as rock! Also I love I can tilt the monitor without loosening a screw and tightening it back. Can’t wait to shoot with this mount!! Will update after using it soon!

Pretty much unusable. On my monitor, LED light and a few other 1/4 20 thread devices the threads clearly are too long and don't let the object actually sit flush against the mount. Your monitor shouldnt fall off since it is screwed in fully, but it shakes and rattles and isn't secure at all. On top of this, its way too stiff to move and adjusting the hex screws does basically nothing. Spend $10 more and get a monitor mount that actually works

This was the cheap option to hold my ninja v on my Sony a7Riii and it was a disaster. The mount isn't sturdy and doesn't fully screw into the camera or monitor. I was really upset with this product. I almost dropped and damaged my monitor multiple times. I would recommend going with a smallrig monitor mount. They are much better products and you'll actually trust they'll do their job.

This thing is awesome. I use it to mount my monitor on my cage.
