RapidBath Indoor Shower Kit, 1-Pack

This was purchased to give the dogs a shower, the one I was using didn't have a lot of power behind it and the length of the hose was short, well this one is the opposite, the length of the cord is long enough but the only thing I don't really like is that it has way to much power behind it, the spray has a hard sharp spray instead of a softer and it sprays all over the place and makes a mess.Depending on where you use this and and on what this could be a good buy.

Works as advertised. I wish it wasn't made of plastic. The fragile thumb trigger is prone to break. At least the cost had dropped since I bought the original.

It was so confusing to order this. I see that others have had the same problems. What I wanted was the handheld piece that you can fill with shampoo. I mistakenly assumed that's what I was getting, since it had a photo of the thing right on the package. But this is just the hose with the various attachments to hook up to the shower, and a plain spray head. You have to order the shampoo-head attachment separately, and that's confusing too, because there's one that uses their shampoo cartridges and another that you pour any shampoo into. It didn't help to read the reviews and Q&A because clearly people had received (ordered?) different variations (some got a hose, others didn't etc). I advise everyone to read more carefully than I did. In addition, although I just placed an order for the handheld piece I want for $20.39, now another Prime option pops up for $18.99 (with quicker delivery). I know it's a small difference, but it's frustrating that my search didn't reveal all my choices.

Installation was easy enough, but they only gave replacement o-rings for the splitter, hose, and hand unit. You need one for the shower head as well. The hand unit only has a few jets, amd small ones at that, so having the water turned on any more than a small fraction turns this from a pet bath to a cnc machine capable of cutting through thin sheets of plexiglass. The nibs on the hand unit have no give whatsoever. I expected them to be a soft flexible rubber to help massage the shampoo into my dog's coat. Instead they are stiff as inflexible as Donald Trump's hair piece, and suitable more as a reprimand. All this being said, the price is low and this kit it easier and more convenient to use than the cup I used before.

It gets 4 stars right now as i was able to get it attached, but it was somewhat of a process. The plastic built attachments make it difficult to get it as tight as wanted and i had to not use the washers as they caused leaking.

The Rapid bath indoor shower kit is a great product. It is easy to install and makes bathing my 110 pound rockweiler in the bathroom a job I can do by myself and he enjoys the warm water shampoo wash and rinse. I am a firm believer in we get what we pay for and it is well worth the price. It is made of inexpensive plastic parts which if installed with care work very well. If I only get 6 months use I feel it is worth the conveyance for the low price but I believe it will probably last much longer. I am in the process of ordering another one as a spare. This is a treat for the dog as well as the dog owner.

A fairly standard had shower attachment, but the water stream is very concentrated -- only covers a small area at a time, and with any significant volume of water the stream is too strong (too high pressure) for my small dog.

The Oster Rapidbath makes it much easier to keep my 2 american Bulldogsclean. It is nice to be able to use the liquid shampoos that I prefer and also makes it easier to apply medicated shampoos. I found it easy to handle, it didn't get slippery when wet and held enough shampoo to wash one of my 120 lb dogs . The switches worked positively and it didn't drip when turned off. The high pressure worked great for rinsing the body, and the low pressure works great around the face and ears. Although it is plastic, it seems to be well constructed and doesn't feel cheap. It definitely saves time not having to fuss with the shampoo bottle. I am glad I bought it.
