Boingo Diaper Fasteners grip on the sides of the diaper. This prevents uncomfortable compression on the babys tummy and delicate areas.

Better than Snappi, kinda
I used Snappi on four kids now for many years but don't like how they squish baby or toddlers little tummy or lower abdomen (or boy parts) to keep the diaper on snug. Which, I'm sure is why someone invented these! So the Boingo fasteners do their job, but there is NOTHING to grip on them! They don't have a flap of silicone on top of the plastic claw for parents to pull like the Snappi fasteners do. Yes there is silicone over the top of the hard plastic claws, but it's adhered through and through- no gap or flap to grab or pull. Also this silicone has nearly 0% stretch. I still can't decide if that's a good thing or not. The teeth could be a bit longer, I've had one slip off overnight a few times on my toddler stomach sleeper. Luckily he didn't get scratched but it did snag the inside of my cover and ruined the PUL right there. We use Bummi slip on covers since they are so thin but completely 100% leakproof, but they have exposed PUL on the inside so this fastener really messed it up! Not to mention that the diaper got all jumbled up inside of the cover. That's not a huge deal on a toddler who only pees at night but could be a real deal-breaker for little ones who still poo in their diapers! My son has been day potty trained for over a year now, but still hasn't gotten the night time stuff down yet so here we are. I still suggest keeping a few of every type of fastener around for a while before you decide whether these are great for you or not. I refuse to use the Snappi on my son because the bottom claw always falls right over his genitals and just doesn't look comfortable, but I have gone back to pad fold laid in a snap-on cover occasionally or good old pins when I didn't feel like fighting to get the Boingo's in place perfectly on a strong toddler. Also, the hooks on these are insanely, ridiculously sharp! Yes, that's sound obvious but I have accidentally gotten my finger a few times and they drew blood - several tiny deep holes all in a neat row across my fingertip!

Excellent, even for adult cloth pads.
These seem to work very well for adult cloth diapering as well. Though it would be nice to have something a little stouter, these are holding up well so far. I can see why those who cloth diaper like these – they are far better than pins and quite easy to apply.

Good for daycare teachers but pricey
Sad these are discontinued and that they’re so expensive! I do like them though. It makes cloth diapering for my daycare easy.

VERY SHARP!
They hold very well but the teeth are very sharp and I've cut my fingers on it and I'm afraid if they slip off, they'll cut the baby.

Good but could be improved.
You have to use these at the correct angle to get good tension to keep them from falling off. They are not as stretchy as some competing products which leads to less tension and they are difficult to grab to get tension. Once you figure out the angle they do a pretty good job, though tend to come undone with lots of movement. They would be better if they could stretch more and had a tab on top so that more force could be applied to stretch them.4/18/2015 After fours pairs in a little over a year I have found that they last about three months before the teeth break or the star splits in half. After the first pair the owner said she would replace, but nothing. After the second pair I wrote via Amazon and was again told I would get a replacement, but nothing. I just wrote about the forth pair and was told the warranty is only for 60 days and they are closer to 90 days old. These are a good product until the teeth break or the star splits and the warranty reflects how long you can expect them to last.
