Was really impressed with the quality. The brush is awesome and the razor is very sturdy.

Very professionally and safely packaged. Black color, very sheek and hoping product doesn't develop discoloration like my old chrome shaving kit did. Excellent razor weight and very soft bristles compared to my old badger hair brush that was a bit prickly. Kit came with nice box, bowl, stand, brush, razor, pack of blades, shaving soap and instruction manual (how to assemble stand, how to install blade, how to mix soap, and how to properly shave with double edge safety razor for newbies). I haven't tried the chinese made blades or custom branded soap product yet.

Great starter Kit. Everything except the shave soap is great. Black shave soap should be exchanged for a TOBS or even Van der Hagen would be better. The shave soap that come with this is poor quality at best, I literaly used it one time, and threw it in the trash. Sink full of black/ grey water from this soap?! No way....a bar of Dial soap or Ajax dish soap would be a step up from this black 'shave soap' . Razor is well made, stand is also good, brush is synthetic, soft, but nothing like a boar or bager brush, that being said this is lightyears better than any Gillette.

Love this kit. Can take the stand apart so that the two pieces can fit with all the other parts into a small travel bag. Others complained about the black soap... it does come off as a grey-ish, but that didn't bother me at all. If it bothers you then a replacement soap can be purchased. Also the ONLY one with a synthetic brush!

The kit is very sturdy very solid construction looks good on the counter how ever the blades are cheap and move in razor which is dangerous for your skin ,it will cut a layer of skin off just keep it for display buy another razor throw away those cheap flimsy blades I like the soap and the bowl

The angle of the blade inside this shaving head is too flat. I would prefer a head curve of 35 degrees to match the curve of the convex blade cover. I think it would give a better shave. The kit is beautifully designed and well constructed.

Got this for my husband for Christmas he LOVES it ! Came with plenty of extra blades & is very well made & durable. The smell is nice also, Like a classic barbershop .

IDK if it's my skin or the blades or inexperience, I breakout and bleed every time I use it
