Addendum to instructions - Please saturate the aroma sponge with water first then drip oil onto the very wet sponge. Instead of dripping oil into the water this unit has a essential oil tray to simplify oil changes. No need to dump all the water out just to change oils. You drop the oil on the essential oil tray and the oil gets picked up when the water runs over it. The water stays oil free. Unlike other diffusers this one has a precise power knob so you can control exactly how much output you want. The large water reservoir and power adjustment allows it to run for 12 hours at 1/2 power setting. A consistent 12 hours. Basic instructions of operation: 1 Take the top cover and oil tray off the top of the water tank and put it to the side. 2 At the bottom of the water reservoir unit there is a black fill knob, remove the black fill knob. 3 Fill the water tank with regular tap water almost to the top of the tank 4 Replace and hand tighten the black fill knob. 5 Carefully place the water tank back on to the base unit. 6 Place the oil tray back on top of the water tank, making sure the sponge unit is carefully secured in the tray. 7 Important- Saturate the sponge with water before dripping oil on the aroma sponge. 8 Place 8-15 drops of your favorite oil on to the very wet sponge of the oil tray. 9 Place the lid back on top of the water tank. 10 Turn the power knob to the desired power setting. TIP: For stronger aroma try flipping the aroma try upside down.
