Q: how do i adjust the bracelet?

pull on the ends to make it tigher, and pull on the bracelet whole to make it loose.

Q: how big is the bracelet without the extra pull cording so I can know if it will fit my partner?

I bought the black lava and the white howlite set for reference. The absolute smallest I can make the white one is 7 1/4'" and the black one is 7 1/2". That is with the strings completely pulled tight. Then there is 2" of string with bead left dangling (2 per bracelet). So if you want it to be less than 7" probably not, but if you want 7" - 9" you are all set!

Mmmm Just be worry about that... It means the bracelet is strong but i don’t know what are you doing with it @-@
