Just what I needed!
The item came very quickly. So far, the charger is working well. I've only had it about a 2 weeks. Obviously, it's not ideal since I cannot use my computer while charging it. Under the circumstances, this was the most inexpensive solution. I'm happy that it is performing as expected. It takes at least a couple hours to fully charge the battery, but I usually just do it every night and that gives me a few hours each day with it charged. Works for me as I generally only use my computer in the evening.Update: more than 2 years later and this product still works just as well as the day I got it.

dv9000 modified adapter plug
it works, not at first, instructions in which direction to plug was not clear. but flawless charging after trial and error. this was the modified plug for type model.

Exactly what I needed
It does exactly what it says it will and is going to do. Worked out great. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Hard to use
Although it supposedly fits several batteries, it fits very loosely and you have to continuously make sure it stays plugged in

Does not work
Rather than buy this look into a new battery and power cord. This device did not charge my batteries! UGh!
