I've had a 100% success rate with these GFCI devices. I'm very happy to eliminate call backs to replace defective products. This LGL GFCI is a reliable UL listed and very cost effective product I've tried several of the other manufacturers devices and have been very disappointed in the success rate. Love the LGL brand.

There are some negative reviews here, mostly about the screws for connecting wires.Most brand name GFCI outlets have the same screws as these. The holes are for #12 solid wire. If you want to wrap the wire around the screw you can, just don't try to force the screw out. If you need to connect #10 wire or stranded, use crimp fork connectors. The red light blinks about once a minute to show self testing, and the green light shows when it has power and not tripped. Both lights are out when tripped. (You have to patiently wait and watch to see the red light blink).I used all 10 outlets and they work. They trip with a plug in GFCI tester. But pay attention to which connections are for line, and which are for slave outlets. Brand name GFCIs have yellow tape over the slave connections making it easy to know which screws to connect power to. The lack of yellow tape was really the only difference I noticed between these and the name brands.

Great price 👍 I'm no electrician but I like the way the wires connect (insert straight in and tighten screw) LED indicator light is virtually non-existant even in the dark, that's the only quality flaw, whichvi can live with. I would buy again.

Husband says they worked great. The only issue he had was installing them, but we have an old house with old wires which made it tricky.

I bought them for its good price but I have to say the quality exceeds my expectation. The installation was easy, and the current and voltage is stable after testing. The LED indicator is a nice touch and gives the outlet a fancier look. I will buy these again to replace the old ones.

I bought these for a home remodel project after we ran a 20 amp power line to a new addition. Had the electrician install them, then tried to use them after the job was done.Most of the outlets don't work. Well, they do work, but only if you can force plugs past the idiotic "child proof" plastic shields which slide over the slots you plug power cords into. The grey plastic covers can sort of be seen behind the face plates if you look closely. Another review also commented on this, but I never dreamed that someone would sell outlets you can't plug anything into. My mistake - now I have to pay someone remove these junk outlets, and install new ones that aren't child proofed before I can plug anything in. There are more than a few people who bought them then had to buy replacements . To be avoided!!p.s., anyone want to buy a bunch of slightly used outlets? hahaha
