Programming Capability and easy to use

Box was a bit damaged due to poor packaging considering it had to come from the USA to Australia but luckily it was the cable end of the box and the MDI 2 was fine. Fired it up and firmware was updated and ran it through SPS, DPS, GlobalTIS & Tech2win and did not skip a beat. Very easy setup and hopefully it will last a long time being a genuine one and not a cheap clone that SPS Techline Connect are starting to lock accounts for people using.

Had to make the move to purchase this as all newer models have multiple modules that need programing and going to the dealer every time gets to be annoying, takes some time to understand all the programing concept, AC DELCO got great support as long as you got new OEM part if you tell them you got a part from a junk yard phone line will drop at a lightening speed LOL...but new is always safer and less trouble.

WARNING!!! Verify immediately upon receiving MDI that it is authentic by serial number/part number as a Bosch MDI from Germany and not a Chinese fake counterfeit unit. My experience was the latter, fake unit. Someone swapped and returned unit for refund ($700 - $800) profit. I’m hoping for karma! These returns are being repackaged as Used, like New Condition and not being verified for part number/serial number on packaging. Also, another Dead giveaway is the missing GM logo in upper case letters. Some may come with the lower case gm sticker in box! 😡

WORK LIKE A CHAMP

I decided to go this route after reading about a competitor or two. I decided on this to reduce future hassles working on my GM stuff. The package arrived quickly, in good shape, and complete. I purchased the subscriptions I need, learned the steps to load the software and connect the interfaces. Next thing, my Volt was fixed. (Battery pack is fine, and the codes are gone, thank you) Onto my next projects.
