I originally picked this up at a TJX store on clearance to see if I liked it! I ended up loving it and will continue to purchase from Amazon, as I haven't been able to find them in the TJX stores anymore. Works right away with making my skin look and feel great!

Sometimes this is all I put on my face and it’s enough to keep it moisturized and happy. Helps with skin tone and texture. I love this stuff just wish it was more affordable.

I’m a huge skin care junkie and always trying new products, wouldn’t consider my skin sensitive - but I live where there’s a lot of sun and retinols typically made me really dry so I veered away from them. This product interested me as a retinol alternative, but I regret ever buying it! I had a terrible reaction on my face and neck - it was red, inflamed, bumpy and extremely dry to the point where it felt like sandpaper. Took > 1 week to recover and was extremely uncomfortable to endure. I have never reacted to a product before - so would NOT recommend for those with sensitive skin!

This is NOT a retinol product as is described in Amazon's summary. That's why it's called Retinol-ALT. This is a Bakuchiol product, which is a gentler plant-based alternative for those who want the properties of an anti-wrinkle serum without the irritations of a retinoid.
