Works great for our snakes!
We are using these thermostats for our ball python snakes. So far they are working great. The only issue we have is that one of the thermostat digital read outs will not show all three numbers in Fahrenheit mode. It will only show the last two numbers. Since we are not going above 100 and/or can use the Celsius reading, we didn’t think this was too big of an issue. We just purchased two more so all four ball pythons will have thermostats. We will be buying two more in the future for our corn snakes as well.

thermostat works well for my Gecko UTH's
I have several thermostats controlling ZooMed & Flukers under tank heaters for our leopard gecko's. I am using a small layer of sand then slate tile as the substrate in the glass terrarium. I have the 6x8 UTH heaters on 10 gallon tanks and the heaters are easily maintaining the 88 degree setpoint with a swing from about 87-90 degrees in the on/off cycle. I think the actual swing is more controlled by the substrate than the actual thermostat. If the heater is oversized or has more output power the temp. swings are actually slighlty larger. The swing on my 11x11 heat mat is slightly larger using the same thermostat than the swing on the 6x8 heat mat. I can see the heating light go on and off as power is turned on and off to the mat and it seems to be working well, but there is a littler over shoot after the light goes off due to the substrate retaining heat. This is not the thermostats fault, it is the application I am using it in, so to keep the tile from overheating I just set the thermostat 1-2 degrees below where I actually want the tile surface and it works well, I have been monitoring temps with a laser infrared temp gun and they seem to be very close to the thermostat display within 1/2 degree F.So far I am very happy with the thermostat operation, easy to set and seems to be regulating well.

Purchased 4 brands for reptile enclosures ranging from 1 star to 4 stars
Over the last 8 months, I have purchased 4 different brands of thermostats to power fifteen or so Reptitherms (under tank heat mats for reptile enclosures). Each vivarium has its own thermostat so the actual load on each thermostat is minimal: 12 to 24 watts (18 watt average). These are the four brands that I have tested so far (they all function basically the same and have Celsius as well as Fahrenheit settings) and I’ve listed their advantages/disadvantages as compared to the other units ranked from worst to best (Note: I didn’t retain any paperwork so, in terms of the warranty, I only mention what they have advertised):Propogate Pro- 1 star: The most expensive of the group at $22, they are the only brand to mention a guarantee in their ad (a 1 year warranty). Does not include a wall mount like Boho Farms does, but it does work over the largest range of temperatures: 34-108 degrees Fahrenheit and the casing is sturdy. Why only 1 star? This brand is the least reliable; 1 of the 4 units I purchased stopped working after only 6 months (none of the other brands have failed to date) which could have proven disastrous if we didn’t check the bank of thermostats daily. I searched the Amazon site for a way to contact the company to pursue the warranty but couldn’t find contact information for them. I’ve contacted Amazon’s customer service and, hopefully, they will be able to help me out.Bo Ho Farms- 3 stars: Both the second cheapest and the second most expensive at $17, their ad doesn’t mention a warrantee. It has the smallest range of temperature at 68-108 degrees Fahrenheit which makes it useless if you brumate your reptiles over winter and need to get down towards the 55 degree range, but they do include a sturdy wall mount that I have found (surprisingly) really helpful in terms of organization and the units have proven to be reliable so far.SunGrow- 4 stars: Tied for the least expensive at $16, it doesn’t advertise a warranty. It has a large temperature range at 42-108 degrees Fahrenheit which makes it great year round (it can handle brumation). Although this is a basic unit with no mount included, it’s been reliable so far.Zacro- 4 stars: Tied for the least expensive at $16, it, too, doesn’t mention a warranty in their ad. It has the second largest range of temperature at 41-108 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree better than the SunGrow, 7 degrees higher than Propogate Pro) which makes it great for brumation and year round use. Although this is also a basic unit with no mount included, it, too, has been reliable so far. It slightly edged out the SunGrow unit due to the extra 1 degree in flexibility.

Comes with everything you need
I bought this to use for my gecko and so far, it's working nicely with the Pangaea heat tape in her vivarium. I see now that it's clearly pictured, but I didn't notice when I bought it that it came with a little mounting sticker. I use very similar stickers in my shower to hold my toiletry baskets so I was familiar with it. A very nice touch for someone who didn't want to put a hole in the wood to hang it!

Can reset settings, but works
Works just as it should, however, it will occasionally lose the settings and reset to default room temperature, and I can't figure out why, whether it's loss of power or a computer fault. So as long as you check in on it semi regularly, works great!

Works but temp needs verified with another tool
Runs a little hot but works great in conjunction with a temp gun. Mine says 85 when it is 90. don't buy this or any other thermostat if you can't check it. Because odds are they all vary a little. Once I got it to the temp where I wanted it for my ball python, it has kept it there. So over all...it's a good product if you can verify the temp.

Loud Thermostat! Don't use in your bedroom!
I have several brands of thermostats that I use specifically for my reptile enclosures (mainly iPower and vivarium electronics). I wanted to try this brand because it looked nice, seemed to function similarly to my other thermostats, and I liked that it could be hung on the wall easily. Unfortunately, the "on/off" function of this thermostat is so loud! I just so happen to be using this thermostat for my ball python enclosure which is kept in my bedroom and the "on/off" function is so loud that it was waking my boyfriend and I up several times throughout the night. I'm not sure if the one I got is faulty, but it would turn off and on over and over again so many times in a row. My iPower and Vivarium Electronics don't do this. They seem to have a more gradual off/on function which doesn't make them turn on/off over and over and over again. Maybe I just got unlucky and recieved a faulty product, but for now.. I'm sticking with my normal brands.

Good but temp fluctuates
I really like it but the temperature fluctuates a LOT I don't know if it's the ceramic heat emitter I'm using that's causing that but it's not to big of a deal because my reptile isn't that sensitive but for some it could be a problem

Pièce missing from the box.
The wall mount seems to be missing. Otherwise decent product but bulky. The price is fair, the shipping time was ok.
