Good for SOME Uses - BUT Beware of Limitations
SUMMARY: This scooter does not function like a typical disability scooter. There is NO auto braking system - So, you must have sufficient hand strength to PULL the handle (Like a 10 speed Bicycle). Also, the motor drive for this scooter is Front Wheel Drive (most have Back wheel drive which gives more power when going on any incline) - I am sure this is part of the reason that the scooter should NOT be used going up or down hill.PROS: This scooter is lightweight - less than 50 pounds with the battery on board - this is one of the primary reasons that we purchased this scooter. The scooter folds up quite small, and takes up little space in a trunk or back of a van. This scooter can go fast IF it is on a paved (or hard) surface that is flat (NO inclines and NO roads that have a slight lean). The Battery seems to go a LONG time, and should last more than a day of riding around and sightseeing or shopping.CONS:There is NO auto brake. This is not only inconvenient but DANGEROUS if you are on even a slight incline or decline. Even pulling the brake as hard as I could it was hard to stop when going down a slight incline. AND when taken up a slight incline - the scooter lost power and eventually stopped and began to roll backwards. THIS SCOOTER SHOULD ONLY BE USED ON FLAT PAVED SURFACES.On roads that are not COMPLETELY flat - the scooter will tend to lean or tilt to the side - it has not tipped on me - but, it has felt close. This is due to the very things that are pros (it is small and lightweight). Conclusion:If you are a person who is using the scooter on flat roads or sidewalks that are paved - AND if you have good hand/ upper body strength to be able to brake he scooter - this would probably be a 5 out of 5 for you.If you need a scooter with the standard safety braking system, and the ability to go up and down hills with the appropriate power and safe braking -- then this would NOT meet your needs and would be a 1 out of 5 for youIn general I consider this to be an adequate scooter for use when shopping around town - it is just the right size and works well for that purpose. So, it is a 3 out of 5. Not good enough to meet all needs.

Very mobile and easy to use.
This scooter is excellent for around town. Easy to get get out of vehicle and easy to set up to go. It does not work on gravel or inclines. Great on level hard surfaces, thinking of buying another one for wife.

Read all the reviewsa do not go by the video that it shows.
My husband had a stroke so I decided to try it out before I put him on it. Of course it warns you about going uphill , but I had to ride it up the wheelchair ramp to get it into the house. I put it in low speed started up the ramp, it flipped over on top of me and knocked me out. So i'm just saying read all the instructions. We have had it about a year and it has been ridden about 6 times -once at Disney World. The battery isdown now and a replacement battery costs around 500$ . It runs great on paved surfaces, but do not even attempt to ride it outside on grass.....

Incline
Easy to use and get in and out of car. Had some trouble in the beginning going up incline but figured out needed to put in second gear and just lean forward or set my weight on the front part of seat and you just zip right up the hill.
