I bought one for a friend and one for my teenage daughter for Christmas they loved them!

I’m very happy with my necklace. The opal is beautiful with many color flashes. Anyone upset with the size should read the description; it’s dainty and about the size of my pinky finger nail. It’s one of my favorite stones. I love the chain as well. Very elegant. I will order from this company again.

This is supposed to be an opal but like nothing like the pic that was posted. I could pick up a piece of gravel and be was close as what i got. The chain is junk. Glad i didn't give it as the gift.

It does look exactly like the pictures, and the stone is quite pretty! I included some pictures. It’s small (about the size of a spherical dime), but I wasn’t expecting something huge. The good thing about the chain is that it can easily be replaced with something sturdier. My only complaint was the chain. It’s very flimsy, and arrived in a few knots—fortunately, I was able to get them untangled. I also suspect that the metal used to penetrate the stone is not very strong, but I’m really hoping it will hold up. If they improve the quality of the chain, and use a stronger metal to pierce the stone, these will be perfect. So four stars due to the flimsy chain, otherwise wonderful.

I understand it’s suppose to be a “raw” stone but this thing just looked like any ole rock I could find outside. You couldn’t tell it was a opal at all! I did like how dainty and small the chain was but that was the only decent thing about it. I was overall disappointed and I will probably be sending it back!

This had no rainbow in it. Pretty much a piece of plastic. The chain is so small it will break in a second. I’m very disappointed since this was a birthday gift.

This nugget has absolutely no fire. Welo opals are generally not that lively, but this thing is completely void of any fire.The rainbow moonstone has sharp edges all around. Also a big disappointment.

This necklace is pretty when really looking hard at it. Otherwise it looks like a white rock. It’s definitely not as bright as the pictures. This could be based on the stone they send also tho.

Very subtle, flashes of red and green/blue in the milky stone. I like it.
