One way valve
The black lid is made of a hard plastic which is not what I expected. The one way valve, which may seem like a great feature that prevents liquids from splashing out, does not work very as well as it could in this way- after taking a drink, the valve does not allow air to go into the bottle, replacing the just squeezed out liquid, and the bottle remains compressed with a vacuum inside. The crumpled bottle will not remain secured in a bottle holder cage on your bike. If the lid worked better, it would be a good purchase but since the lid doesn't perform well, I can't recommend this product.

Using Every Day
Since moving back to Illinois, my husband has been bike riding every day and with the heat wave that has been going on, water is a must. The area is full of bike riding groups and he's loving having a chance to ride daily! The bottles with the brush are on our counter and being used daily.

Hydroshot Feature for Cycling
Just got these in the mail and was pleasantly surprised. The bottles are a great size for my long rides, and I'll be using them in my Half Ironman this weekend. The bottle brush is a great bonus, as I also hate to clean out the bottom of my bottles - especially after mixing in my electrolytes or sports drink when it's not easily washable with just water.The bottles are soft to the touch and the hydroshot works much better for drinking "on the go" than a normal water bottle. Would definitely recommend for anyone that lives an active lifestyle.

Love it!
Love these Hydro Shot bottle caps. They make it much easier to drink. The bottle brush is super helpful too. All my old bottles were collecting mould because I couldn't get into the nooks and crannies. The brush make it easy to reach.

Do not expand well after drinking
They hold water well and do not leak but if you take a big drink, the bottle stays collapsed and only slowly expands. This makes it difficult to easily get back into bottle cage since they are deformed.

Nice bottles for the price. The cleaning brush was a nice added feature.

I have not had a chance to use my water bottles or cleaning brush but they look like what I wanted.

cheap for a reason
You get what you pay for here. The one-way valve is slow to refill, the lid is leaky and the threading isn't very sturdy so you can't fully tighten the lid. Next time, I'll pay a few bucks more and get something decent
