M8A1 US Bayonet Scabbard, made in Germany by Eickhorn/Solingen, sold by Sarco Inc.
I’m extremely pleased with this item. The webbing is a thick well made heavy duty cotton consistent with the US pattern webbing of the 60/early 70s and the rivets and snaps are sturdy. Overall the item is extremely well made. The only criticism/observation I would make when comparing this to the original items is that the ends of the retaining strap that fits around the top the knife handle are not finished with flat metal clips like the originals but are bare webbing sealed with a black resin. Made in Germany by Eickhorn/Solingen, sold by Sarco Inc. An absolute steal at the price !!!!!! I wanted mine to take a US M3 Fighting Knife.

Excellent quality. German-made by Eichorn-Solingen. The only difference between this one and my old one is the metal cap on the tip. It fit my M3 Trench Knife perfectly.
