Kid's Gel-Contend 4 GS Running Shoe

Very comfortable and fit perfectly. I wanted a better shoe for my 9 year old daughter after she sprained her ankle and she said she feels very stable in them. Bonus, she loves the color of them!

This is the third pair of Asics my son has worn in the last four years. As the two pairs previous, these are just fantastic shoes. They don't wear out like other sneakers. Every pair has lasted until my son outgrew them, about 12-18 months, and they still have life in them. I have been able to donate his used pairs because they are in such great shape, even after a year or more of daily wear by a busy little boy. Excellent product!

The ASICS Gel-Contend shoes are excellent running shoes for kids. One of our girls needs inserts, and the regular insole was easy to remove to accommodate the insert. The shoes hold up really well with daily tear and wear as well, provide good traction and are very comfortable.They fit true to size for us (we always need to order a half-size down for athletic shoes).

These sneakers are very nice looking. They are wearing down a bit already but my 12-year-old is also very hard on his shoes (he's out playing constantly). They fit well and are soft and comfy on the inside. I wish they were a bit tougher on the outside because I suspect that front rubber piece is going to come away from the cloth area at some point, but for now they are working out well.

I love ascics sneakers and so do my boys !! They decided to get matching sneaks for school this year. The only problem was they are too big. Had a different style of ascics for the older in a 3 1/2 and his feet were poking out the front so ordered a 4 and they are huge. Re ordered the 3 1/2 and fit perfect. Same issue with the younger child got a 1 and they are bigger than a previous 1 1/2. No biggie I'm gonna order the 13 1/2 and since they like the color so much we will have them for when they out grow these. Just wanted to give other parents a heads up to maybe order a 1/2 size down

Really great shoes. Always buy Asics for my 10 year old son and these are super nice looking and the laces don't untie for some reason. He's a super active kid- i.e. runs 5 miles in an hour, hikes for 4-5 hours a shot, and these shoes have kept up with him and provide him with great support.

My 8 year old loved them, right out of the box. Switched to these from Nike. So glad to be done with Nike. He loves them. He's very athletic, loved baseball, loves to play, loves to run. He's very active. He finds these incredibly comfortable, and again, I'm just so happy to finally switch him out of Nike into a much higher quality of shoe. Fit very well. He was ready for a 4.5 and these we're right on the money.

I have an active boy running on concrete at school. After one week, the bottom rubber sole started to come apart. It was fixed with some super glue - all ok. But now 3 weeks after owning this, more areas of the bottom sole are falling apart which super-glue is not able tto fix. This is very poorly made and wished I could return it. The last shoes from Teva lasted him over one year. These for less than a month. For $49 a pair this is a rip-off.
