Why Hyundai didn't include this is a mystery.
I just upgraded to the Hyundai Kona from my last car and I had a similar tray in it. I had grown so used to having this tray in my previous car that I was amazed that my Kona did not come with one. It just drops right in and lets me keep things I need to get to right away on top while still leaving me room to store things below.

Great econimical fix
Why this isn't standard on the Kona I'll never understand. This is a great fix for a lackluster center console. Tray fits perfect and the mats are great for keeping the noise down. HIGHLY recommend and would purchase again in a heart beat.

Fits perfectly in my 2021 Hyundai Kona. It almost looks like something is missing when it’s out. Would definitely buy again.

Excellent
The center console is pretty deep on my Kona. This tray should be standard on the cars. I place keys and my wallet on it. It's great for change, insurance card and registration too.

I love it
The Hyundai Kona should have come with this from the factory. This little tray adds another level of storage in the center console effectively increasing the amount of available storage space.

Perfect Fit
The insert tray fits perfectly and allows quicker, easier access to a few items. Recommended.

Difficult to remove but not a deal breaker
Why didn’t Hyundai include this simple idea. My Veloster had one.The only difficulty is it is nearly impossible to lift it out. You have to grasp it with your fingers by the area that looks like a coin holder. Even then, it’s slippery. I had some double sided automotive tape and applied an inch piece in the mentioned area. Now it is easy to grasp and remove.

Bought it for our Kona 2021, fit perfect on the designated space and looks like original from Hyundai
