Secret Love

Wow - this is certainly not your normal tragic drama! Invest 2 hours of time you will never get back in an okay film that is like the epic line in the original Judge Dredd (1985): "Eat recycled food: it's GREAT for the environment and OKAY for you!"The vow, "in sickness and in health" gets sorely tested when the husband, (Jin-woo), is in a coma from an accident. His young aesthetically-strong wife, (Yeon-yi) probably suffers from PTSD but is more likely horny as hell. Jin-woo's brother, (Jin-ho), arrives to visit his brother and it's only a matter of time when things go sideways and the pretty young wife starts doing the THE NASTY with the brother!You just want to cringe when the husband figures out that the fox is in the hen house!This film has sparked much passionate debate among my friends: some say you cannot blame the wife as what happened was totally natural and can be expected. Others wanted the husband to mete out a Singaporean-style epic beat-down to the brother for porking his wife while he was in a coma in the hospital. They were royally pissed!While it's great that the husband recovered and could walk again, it seemed that all three lost in the end...Good to watch and discuss the strength of your relationship.Enjoy!

I thought it was a great love triangle, but after having seen so many foreign films and being Cambodian American myself, I find it truly difficult to distinguish between the twins (whereas in foreign horror films, I spend so much time focusing on the subtitles, it's hard to remember who is who because the girls all look alike considering the long black hair and similar facial features). As well as for the game they played as twins, I still don't know who she truly loved. Highly recommended.

I was upset that Yeon-Yi could not tell which brother she was with when she was with one. Each brother, Jin-Woo and Jin-Ho were so different and she should have been able to tell. She should not have been so confused or fooled. Which one did she really love? I loved Jin-Woo.

I enjoyed this dramatic romantic triangle

Husband in coma. Twin shows up and the wife falls in love but the husband wakes up and all hell breaks loose. Well, the movie has many wrinkles but I just moved along. It is good if you are patient and like to figure things out. For me, I was like hmmm...watch out for lust. And make sure that you don't stick too close to other gender when you are uber vulnerable?The acting is good but the progress is like glacial speed. Also, again, I moved many parts quickly but watching slowly may give you more flavor.

"Secret Love" is an okay South Korean dream/romance flick.

Falls in love with the twin who she actually lived from the beginning. Interesting story line with a twist.
