They work fine for about the price of one battery at the Shack. I can't speak for its longevity yet.

I'm hesitant to review this battery because it could be working far better than I think. My gate opener has a receiver part that is battery operated and the batteries lasted almost 2 years. When I had to replace them I discovered they needed AA but not standard - I ordered these because they were rated with the same power output as the original batteries. However, after about 4 months my gate began opening itself, which it does when the battery goes dead. When I'd open and check the batteries, they were fine, and when I put them back the gate would close. A new set of batteries works perfectly for a few weeks or a couple of months, but then it starts again. I believe there to be a defect in the receiver and it may have nothing to do with the batteries at all.

50% DOA
Ordered 4 of these. Two were dead on arrival. Contacted the seller who did send two more. Of those two, one was OK, but the other tested weak/marginal. Will contact seller again..... The items I received were not as pictured. They are a solid blue in color with the voltage stamped on the side. So, if you are expecting the pictured item, I did not receive it. The three of the six received so far, are functioning normally in the alarm system. Based on the fact that 50% of them were DOA on arrival, I wonder how long they will last. Quality control is definitely an issue here.

"DO NOT BUY"
Do not buy these batteries. tried to charge on a charger designed to charge lithium batteries. 5 minutes on charger 1 of the batteries BLEW UP. I was about 6 feet away, not sure how I wasn't hurt. It was like a shot gun blast with bright flash. "DO NOT BUY!"1 star for shipping.

Be careful
I think I just got a bad battery or something but... it exploded on me in my device. It hurt and burned my carpet filling my room with smoke; so just be careful with them I guess. On the positive side the shipping was good...
