Need added equipment
I wanted to be able to grab the bands and do a workout in the living room, but 60 to 70 percent of the exercises require added equipment. You need a flat bench, an incline bench, and you need to drill holes in a door or wall to create 3 levels of hooks to attach the bands to while exercising. The exercises seem very good, but I found the book totally impractical for my situation.

Good book, and very helpful with resistance band workouts.
I like this book, it gives me a whole new outlook on the use of resistance band workouts. I just started to work out again, only I have heard so much about resistance band workouts, that I thought I would give it a try. I'm seeing some results with working out with resistance bands. Anyway this book will help anyone to learn about working out with bands. I would recommend this book.

Useless in Kindle format.
The pictures and explanations of them are so small that even on my 8.9 HDX kindle I cannot read the text. And I did try to increase the size in the font settings. This did not work because apparently the picture and text that accompany it are actually "pictures" so cannot be enlarged. I have emailed Amazon to ask for a refund.

this book had stick figure illustrations
if you are expecting photographs of how to do these exercises do not buy this book it has ridiculous stick figure drawings to show how to do exercises hard to follow

Good book, could use some tuning, but overall good
I would've given this 3 1/2 stars although that is not an option (so i rounded up). First let me state that I think this is a great book. The writers provide excellent information and pictures so that a user can do the exercises with ease. They also provide good information to help the user to try to create a program that will help them fulfill their needs. There were a couple of things that I think the author could've improved upon. First, as another reviewer mentioned, they do not tell you the page numbers of the exercises in the end of the book (program section). When creating your program, it takes 3x as long to look up each individual exercise. Second, I did not like that they did not include what muscle (s) or groups were being worked out in each exercise. Granted the writers put the exercises under vague headings like Chest, arm, legs, etc. but they do not tell you specifics like biceps, traps, rear delts... like every other exercise book does. Lastly, I think the writers should have had several sample exercise plans that each cater to one's specific goals. If they revise this book and incorporate some of these suggestions, then this book would definitely be 5 stars.

Terrible pictures - very unclear how to use the bands.

Impressed so far
Just getting into the book but can already tell its a keeper based mostly on the narrative. The photo illustrations are a bit oddball—look like crash dummies, and there is no color in the book except the cover.

Super-helpful for beginner who has bad knees!
As a person with bad knees, I'm finding this book very helpful in finding ways to exercise using resistance bands to strengthen my knees. I have neither the money nor the space for exercise machines, and the bands are a great alternative. I just wasn't sure how to use them and this book has been a godsend.

not too happy
Book is very "unattractive" and only shows icons instead of real people. The worst is that the page are too small to read. Not sure what they have tought to inly use 50% of page size instead of 100%

not impressed
I thought I would be getting a more comprehensive guide to resistance band training but found it not overly informative and the diagrams left quiet a lot to be desired, in future I will stick to youtube.
