Tony Chacheres Bold Creole Seasoning 198g

Came across the 'standard' Tony Chacheres whilst working in the States, loved it. Thought I would give the hotter version a try. Its great, goes with everything (perhaps not ice cream).

Never had creole seasoning before so I've no reference point, but if this is typical of creole seasoning I've been missing out big time.

I've been trying a bit more Creole and Cajun cooking recently and have been trying to use the seasonings recommended in some of the online, "authentic" recipes, this being one of them.The ingredients are storecupboard staples, so I will now be able to make my own version.However, this product as sold is mainly salt, with other ingredients added........I hadn't realised this before buying it.But, that said, it does add a nice savoury seasoning to pork and chicken dishes, just remember to not add any additional salt

I use this instead of salt. It’s less sodium and gives a little kick. Not too spicey though. Good on rice, eggs, veggies and more.

This is an amazing seasoning and was going to reorder. Looks like that won’t be happening as in the last month the price has doubled. Not to sure that’s the best way to get your product out there. Hopefully price comes back down to reasonable

The blend is spicier ... perfect just as I like it!
