Surprised at how good it actually was
Wow. I love this. Fits beautifully. My cervix is quite low and this came out as one of the smaller sized and it is perfect. I appreciate some people will have difficulty with insertion but persevere, it is so worth it. I actually found insertion very easy and from the first time it went in and opened out as it should. You do have to keep your fingers round it as you insert until it really is most of the way in as otherwise it'll open too soon but other than that tip, it's just great. Removal the first couple of times was tricky but it's a case of finding what works for you. Read the instructions properly and some blog sites are really helpful, don't just assume the stalk is for removal - it's not, it is just to help you locate the bottom of the cup.I have never felt the cup or the stalk, it's soft and comfortable. According to other reviews this has quite thick silicone compared to other brands, I've not used other ones so I can't comment compared to them but I didn't find it too thick to insert or fold and it was perfectly flexible. I've never had to trim to stalk as it's very flexible and soft.I love the freedom of it being there all day before emptying so no faffing at work, no worrying about smells, no worrying about drying out. It is actually better than expected, I bought this slightly sceptically thinking I'd give it a go but not really like it. I actually think it is the best hygiene thing I've ever done - thrush is a distant memory as a result!

pretty colour and well built cup
Very nice and comfortable menstrual cup. I love the colour! it's on the small size but it holds a good amount, I would recommend it however for those who don't have a very heavy flux. I find On the heaviest day you might have to change it rather often (maybe every 4 hours or so), where I usually change it about 2 times a day the rest of the days. I find that it seals nice so you don't leak, but at the same time the seal is easy to break and therefore easier than other cup I had to remove and empty. I have a coil and have no problem using this brand with the coil.

Soft and comfortable
I have been using a Mooncup for the last 5 years and while I like the concept of using a cup the downside with it was that I could always feel it. After reading several reviews about the newer cups now on the market I decided on the SckoonCup because it was a lot 'squishier' than most. I wanted something that would spring open after insertion, but nothing as rigid as the Mooncup. The cup blogger I consulted rated the Sckoon as a 2 on the squishiness scale and the Mooncup as an 8. I would agree with this comparison: the Sckoon is much easier to fold and insert. Once open I can't feel it and I don't need to remove it when I go to the loo as I did with the Mooncup. The large size Sckoon is the same dimensions and capacity as the Mooncup but much more comfortable. I am very pleased with my Sckoon!

Good quality menstrual cup
I like Sckoon Cup. It is very comfortable and it works well. I like the design because it maximises capacity for the size of cup. The silicon is thicker than many other brands so I'm not sure why Sckoon advise that you replace your Sckoon Cup every 2 years when other manufacturers suggest their cups will last for 10 years if looked after. The purple is very pale, more of a dark pink really, which is a shame but other than that I have no complaints. The stem is very stretchy and flexible, which means it does not need trimming but it is of limited use to pull the cup down to within reach to remove. The flared rim is thick, making Sckoon Cup one of the firmest cups that I've found.

Love it, best thing I've bought in a long time.
Having spent a good few months toying with the idea of getting a cup and doing lots of research on different types I decided to go with this one and I'm so pleased with it. The whole idea of a cup seemed a bit messy and fiddly but I'm really sick of spending a fortune on tampons, plus the damage they do to the environment and whatever they might be doing to me with all the crazy chemicals in them I decided I really should give a cup a try.I've used it for 2 months now and love that it doesn't need emptying anywhere near as often as I changed a tampon, I've had absolutely no leaking and once in I can't feel it at all. Putting it in and taking it out the first couple of times was a bit scary but I followed the instructions and it was no problem. I thought getting it out and emptying it would be messy but much to my surprise when you 'break the seal' before removing it that pretty much closes the top together with the result being no mess.Another bonus is that when I know I may well come on whilst out I can pop it in just in case and unlike a tampon there's no risk to using it before you actually get your period. Also the last 2 months my period has been a day shorter which if like me you usually have a 6 day period taking it down to 5 is great. In fact I did the maths and as I have a 28 day cycle that's 13 periods a year so having one day less each cycle means 13 days less bleeding a year!If you are considering a cup then do it, I know I won't look back.

Amazing. Deffinitely a game changer!
The Sckoon Cup is the first menstrual cup I have ever used and I am very impressed. I've never had such an easy period before using this! The first 1 or 2 times were a little tricky but I picked it up quite quickly. I will never go back to using tampons after discovering this little gem! Very well made and easy to clean, bend and open once inside. I would highly recommend to all ladies.

Amazing product
This is a life changer. If you're hesitating making the change from tampons then don't. This is easy to use and maintain. It is so comfortable that you won't notice it's there. Not only is this better for you than tampons it will save you loads of money and you'll never run out!

Makes life so much easier!
I was never very confident using tampons and stuck with towels for years. I wanted something more environmentally friendly so decided to give the SckoonCup a try. After feeling very weird about the whole experience for the first few times, I became more comfortable with practice and would never go back now. It's great to be able to go through the working day without having to think about your period. It seems crazy to me now why anyone would use disposable products at all!
