These are as expected for the price point. They magnify text whilst wearing contacts, which are for distance and make small text close up difficult to read. It is liking switching on HD when you put them on. The dye on the blue pair comes off on your nose if worn for longer than 30-60 seconds, which means you end up with blue marks that are difficult to remove. I have put some clear nail varnish on them and this seems have sorted it. The purple pair are fine. For infrequent short use, I'd recommend them. I wouldn't want to wear them for any length of time though.

I bought these after one of the arms fell off my old readers. These arrived promptly and I really like them. They are sturdy and comfortable and I was surprised to see that they have spring hinges that will hopefully make them more durable. I would definitely purchase again but I don't think I'll need to for a while!

I bought these to supplement the ones I bought from my optician, so that I would have spares handy if necessary. My prescription said I needed +2.50 so that’s what I bought. Sadly, they are a very different power to my prescription ones: far weaker, so useless. Add to that the fact that they cannot be returned and I have wasted my money.

The blue is not as blue as it looks in the photograph. But they do what they are supposed to, and they are better-looking than most reading glasses.
