COSMEC Weighted Blankets (36" x 48" | 5lbs)

This is the first time I bought a weighted blanket. The package come with a cover, the material feels very soft and comfortable. My 5 year old kid always need someone to stay with and couldn't sleep long by himself. He always need a long time to fall asleep in the bed every night. I saw weighted blanket can help on calming kids, so I want a try.This blanket really help. It is heavy but it is also soft. So, once I cover my son, it is like molding his body shape. I think because of the weight and molding effect, he feels like he is getting hug. I can see he can fall asleep faster and sleep longer on the no school day.To me, this is definitely a good investment and highly recommend it.

I recently purchased the 15# weighted blanket for a variety of things that afflict me on a daily basis.The item arrived within a couple days of purchase and in nice package.The blanket is of sturdy fabric with the nano- beads sewn into individual pouches to ensure equal distribution of weight throughout. The blanket is also constructed with the ability to tie it to a duvet cover that also allows for equal distribution and prevent bunching.I purchased as a set, because I felt that it was more cost effective than purchasing each separate at over 36$+ and tax.The Minky Cover is very soft and comes with ties sewn in to attach to blanket.To choose the right weight for you they have a guide to make that easy as well.I slept through the night for 2 nights without my RLS, anxiety, or insomnia.I have a service dog trained to do deep pressure therapy when I am having an anxiety attack and this blanket has also been effective in helping to decrease my anxiety when my dog was not in the room with me.Only issue (I wouldn't personally say complaint) is that at least this time of year it is just too hot to lie beneath my covers, making cuddling with my husband a bit difficult, however, we make it doable.I have to have my kids haul it upstairs some times because trying to carry it just hanging is like hauling dead weight, so taking with you when traveling may prove to not be something you may want to do. I will since the Benefits "outweigh " (🚫 pun intended) dealing with the negative effects of not having it.If the 15+ #'s is just too much. They do come in smaller sizes for kids.

I purchased the 7 lb. weighted blanket from this company for my son. It was wonderful & I gave it a very positive review. it was so great, in fact, that I decided to purchase a 15 lb. blanket for myself. One thing that I really liked about my son's blanket was the removable cover, which the 15 lb. blanket says that it includes as well. When the blanket arrived, it was in a box that was clearly just a blanket that was not intended to have a cover (no ties). I returned it as a "wrong item sent". When the replacement arrived, it was exactly the same blanket, again with no cover and no ties for a cover. I returned it, then purchased a weighted blanket from a different company. Too bad.

I’m a 111lb 30yr old woman without current sleep problems. I just really like the idea of deeper, more relaxing sleep. I settled in this one after buying/returning 2 before it. Overall, it’s pretty cool.Pros:-very deep sleep and vivid, lucid dreams-super calming and comfortingCons:-too warm for me in summer and too warm for my boyfriend any time of the year-I wake myself up trying to move it around me at night. I find it’s sometimes more trouble than it’s worth to shift it in my half asleep state. Would have gone lighter had I known.-I’m not sure if there’s a weighted blanket out there that’s very big but this size is definitely more of a throw, just so you’re aware.

I bought this for my soon to be three year old who is still not sleeping through the night. It arrived well packaged. I took it out of the box and read the instructions to put it together. It took a couple of tries to get the inner weighted blanket in the minkee case correctly. It seems to be a nice well made blanket. My two year old took to it right away as did my 5 year old. It hasnt been a magic fix for my two year olds sleeping habits but she does seem to sleep in little longer intervals when she does sleep.

If you are looking at the smaller one, pick a different seller. This one doesn't have a cover and the one with a cover is like $5 cheaper. I read all the reviews and it all said it came with a cover, but the smaller sizes so don't.other wise it is still a great weighted blanket and my daughter likes to have it on her legs at night.

Using for my 3 yo to sleep. She hasn’t slept longer like I was hoping but I do think she is staying in bed once put down. Like that it has a cover but it isn’t easy to switch back and forth. The tying is a little cumbersome and didn’t seem to hold its shape due to the weight pulling on the ties. It is soft though. Haven’t used it since it is summer but it is still nice without the covering.

The blanket itself seems to be made fine but I bought this blanket for 2 specific reasons and 1 reason had benefited the other. I wanted the minky cover AND the benefits of a weighted blanket. This blanket defeats it primary purpose, without the cover in the photo, it is not the comforting step up from a minky baby blanket! If you are going to advertise it has a soft, removable duvet-like cover, then provide one. Don’t make the consumer review all the comments to find they’ve been duped.
