If it were $40.00 US, I wouldn't mind the quality. The "wings" are a very glittery white. When my GF put the wings on, the first thing she said was that they were cheaply made because the wiring is so obvious.Bottom line, is that you need to WANT to make these wings work, and probably use only in dim light or dark, and you cannot wear the neck-strap for very long before it gets really uncomfortable. The light-strings look flimsy when the lights are on, and a glittery translucent white kind of clashes with most dark halloween costumes. When the lights are dim or dark, this does look pretty good.The websites instructions regarding putting the battery box around an arm, are inaccurate. You MUST strap the box around your neck, ALL NIGHT LONG, or figure a way to attach it to the top of your costume. Battery box is hard-wired, zero possibility of the central-top of the wing-harness being strapped to one arm. The NECK STRAP is pale white, and your NECK will be holding up the 3 AAA batteries, the box, the wings themselves, and the 2 extending rods that spread the wings out. They are a lot like telescoping back-scratchers, without the claws.My GF is 5' 2", and without shoes, these wings (called Flame) drag the ground just a little. I like the length. The extendable RODS that help you hold up the wings, are pretty good quality. We might have to get very creative, since the BOX is the top of the wings. Problem being, if we attach it to her costume, the whole thing will sit LOWER than if it were strapped to the back of her neck.

Note: These wings are solid white in regular lighting, but in the dark the LED lights glow red/orange/yellow, and looks like it’s all that color. (So not the best for regular day time lighting, but it was perfect for my glow in the dark costume)

The wings fabric is a white iridescent. It isn't red as I assumed from the photos posted. Deeply disappointed in the color. The lights aren't that bright either. Would not buy again.

The media could not be loaded.  Warning I purchssed these thinking that the sheer material was red or dark bugandy to match my pheonix costume which is red orange and yellow ...these wings are an opalescent white.... i was very disapointed ...im keeping them just because they are pretty and i gonna try to spray them with red aresol fabric dye ...update I was able to use spray fabric dye in red and yellow on the side of wings and it worked!!!!

Love my wings!! Only problem is they are a little long so they drag the ground when I walk and get dirty. Also the way you wear them is a strap that goes around your neck with a batter pacj hanging from it and it choked me really bad. I ended up tying the neck strap to my shirt straps instead. That is how i will wear them from now on. I received compliments all night long. Everyone loved them!

The wings are white with yellow and orange lights. There is no orange yellow red or black on the flame wings as shown on pictures.

The wings are beautiful, the lights are great. I was interested in buying wings that had an arm band battery pack as shown in the picture but the orange and red light wings have the battery pack on a chocker that goes around the neck. That’s not as described and not great for me because I experience sensory issues but maybe I’ll get used to it. Def good quality, that’s my only hang up.
