Before purchasing this, I read many reviews, pro and con. The pros out weighted the cons and I bought it. I used it the day it came. Its sole purpose is to use it in my car and it works! For the naysayers claiming the suction isn't good...C'mon people, it wasn't made to vacuum your house! I gave the suction a good rating as it gets the job done. You don't need a high powered vacuum, unless you're a total slob. For the value of money and the ease of use, I give it a five. So naysayers, if you use this product for things it's not intended to do, you will, of course, give it a negative review. In conclusion; if you're looking for a good car vacuum, this is the one to get.

Purchased the elteko Car Vacuum Cleaner 12V - High Power Portable Hand Vacuum Cleaner with Stainless Steel HEPA Filter shortly after buying a new-to-me car. With supposedly 6kpa power as opposed to most car vacuums with 5kpa power or less, I expected this vacuum to work better than most. Let me start by saying my car really didn't have much debris other than a few dog hairs in the back seat and some cigarette ash on the carpet. It did take care of the ash, wouldn't pick up a stray cigarette butt that I found, and did a decent job on the pet hair - however, suction dropped off significantly after only about 2 minutes (and cord was heating up). I thought possibly the filter could be clogged since there was not really anything in the collection cup, so I emptied it anyway and cleaned the filter. Then I gave it to my husband to use in his car (a little dirt on the carpets) and the same thing happened - suction dropped off after about 2 minutes without much in the collection cup. Most likely I'll be sending it back. It's pointless after a couple minutes on mostly clean interiors. I can't imagine this unit picking up beach sand or cookie crumbs for more than a minute.

This vac has good suction--the best I've seen in a 12 volt corded vac. However its conventional design allows the filter to get clogged long before the dirt cup is full. Newer designs use cyclonic or similar action to throw dirt AWAY from the filter and into the cup. The headlight works well, though it only lights what's ahead of the vac because of its positioning. Included tools are useful and well designed. Overall I'm happy with my purchase compared to the other options currently available in this price range.

It has a very long cord so you can move around the vehicle with no issues and that plugs into the auxiliary car power outlet. There is a button that turns on a light which helps getting under the seats and those small dark nooks. The suction is great and gets the job done! Comes with a brush attachment as well. We use it all the time and it's so convenient. I highly recommend this!

I was so excited to get this. I have a one year and a mastiff that’s ride in my vehicle. There are some messes to say the least. So here is my honest review.Pros)1)Carrying case2)Lots of attachments for all spots3)Light for underneath the seats and areas that may be dark and not as visible4) price5) long cord to reach in hatchesCons)1) the zipper on the case is weak. It broke the first time I used it2) the suction is not the best it works for small jobs like cracker crumbs3) no wall plug. Most vehicles come with wall plugs now to so it would be nice to have that option.4) the compartment you empty the waste from sometimes gets stuck and it is really hard to pull it out of the vacuum. Then when you do get it apart, the dirt and trash fly everywhere. Like opening a bag of chips and the bag rips.All in all this is a pretty decent car vacuum. If you are just looking to clean up small messes this is a great vacuum for the price.

This vacuum is great! Totally worth the money to have an easy to use, always there when you need it car vacuum. As a mother of a young child I appreciate not having to go to the gas station all the time to clean out my car. Now I can do it anywhere! Live saver on road trips too!

Love this. Reaches with the long cord all the way to the back of my suv. Love the bag that comes with it makes it easy to store

I would not recommend this product. The power cord frayed at the base and short-circuited my 12-volt in the car. Not worth the money.
