Antop Bow AT-217 FM
Sadly, The Antop Bow AT-217 FM Amplified Antenna actually made some of our station come in worse. We have gone back to the little single wire antenna that came with our stereo. We live in a rural area of northern Michigan with no really large cities anywhere around us so the choice of radio stations is limited for us. However there are a couple that come in good and there are several that come in somewhat. Sometimes with static, sometimes fading in and out. While this item did not work for us I presume it is due to our rural location, our house is on a wooded piece of property surrounded by trees and the fact that we have a metal roof. That's an awful lot to ask of an inexpensive indoor antenna to overcome. We were hopeful but in the end this antenna simply did not help.Being a Prime member returning the item was simple and hassle free. If I had an interest in any other Antop products I would go ahead and give them a try.

15% RESTOCKING FEE? Make sure its suitable for your need before you buy.
This is a difficult review for me to do. It has nothing to do with the actual product. It's the returns and refunds...shipping & shipping costs, disclosure within the "usage" owners manual. There is a 15% restocking fee if you don't like it, you have to pay for shipping to return. + the 15%. Now if for some reason this doesn't suit your needs they still get your money. Other than that for me i think it works fine. (Just being honest for my fellow man) If ANTOP was truly in the $$$$ they would be doing the right thing. They should put this information in the Amazon add. Big letters 15% RESTOCKING FEE " better keep it a secret "? It does work good for me and i do like it.

DO NOT waste your money!
I had high hopes here. I should have known better. My dollars would have been better used for BBQ briquette kindling. That would have at least, afforded more utility than this antenna.Installation was simple and straightforward. An 8 year old could read the instructions and install this. Now...It noticeably and uniformly boosts the levels of "noise" in FM radio broadcasts but, does NOTHING to improve, clear or enhance the broadcast signals themselves. You might as well just turn up the volume on the reception that you have because that is literally what this antenna does. FM here equals: Fooled More.

It may not be useless, but it only made the noise and static louder
It gave me no better reception than no aerial. It claims 50 miles. It would not even get the PBS station 12 miles away. I get great reception in my car. I am using a Marantz 5013 tuner, but no luck with this antenna. It is attractive, however.

Not as good as claimed, but not worthless.
I had high hopes for this antenna - there are a lot of stations within fifty miles of my location. Sadly, I was only able to add about four stations from within twenty five miles. On the positive side, the local stations which I used to get intermittently are now received strong and clear.

I GOT NOTHING
I live upstate and hooked it up to my receiver and was unable to pick up any stations. I have a small CD/Radio and it picks up more stations with a simple antenna.

It worked
It provided the needed boost to receive the local NPR station
