Like the other reviewer wrote, this is great for covering the print bed of a desktop 3D printer like my Printrbot and the price here is very competitive.

Kapton tape is really useful for the hot bed of DIY rapid prototyping machines.This product is a bargain compared to many other sources.

This is Koptan, not Kapton
But it will probably do the same job. Polyimide is polyimide, but the label clearly states Koptan. If you need this for an important application I wouldnt take the risk.
