They are called basic but shorts pretty much are. They are regular shorts. Normal length, perfect fit. Pockets and zipper are normal and no shortcuts were taken like a short zipper or unusable pockets.I've had them a few weeks and have worn them many times. I've washed them a few times too. No changes in quality. No threads flinging loose. They are as good as the other brand name shorts I have.They are basic in that they do not have a phone pocket or separate pouches in your pockets for dividing stuff like keys and a front pocket wallet. No grippy band to keep them from creeping down. If you are pone to plumbers crack, you will be showing it after a while. I tuck w=to prevent that when I need to.I recommend these and great everyday casual shorts.

I really liked these shorts because they are made of cotton and the color is the same as the photo. I am size 36 in pants and it fits perfectly. I don't think it's a slim fit, my legs aren't very thick and it was a little wide. I'm 5'10" tall and weigh 170 lbs with a bit of a belly.

Good product less cost

My teens are slim and it's hard to find shorts for them that they don't need a belt with. They also aren't into the short men shorts either. These are perfect since I can get a 28 waist and the inseam is a good length. We probably have 5-6 pair.
