Loved it
I read the book with my group and we had discussions and mapped out strategies based on the suggestions in the book. We loved that it dealt with the mentality needed for growth

The quality of this book isn’t good.
There are several areas of this book that are marked up. I would like a refund. The book itself so far is really good.

A catalyst for success
I have never heard of Peter until audible suggested this title and I decided with a bold claim like that and some stellar reviews for a rather new audio book at the time, I had to give it a try. The audio book was so good and inspiring I decided to order the print version as well making this book one of the only two books I own in both print and audio. The other is Tony Robbins, "Money".I have read a lot of success and motivational books in the past so I am very familiar with this line of work but somehow, this work spoke to me where most informed me. I am not sure if it is because I see myself in the author (minus the six figures) or the simple and direct way he communicates his ideas but whatever it is. I am now reading this book very slowly with pen and a highlighter because I intend to capture all the little details I may have missed the first time.In summary if this is your first motivational or success book you will find that it is money very well spent. If you have however read a lot of success books in the past and are familiar with the works of Tony Robbins and books like Rich Dad Poor Dad, then this should be a wake up call from your success snooze-feast. For most old timers, the question we need to ask is; Peter followed the principles we all know and became who he is now so why haven't we achieved our wildest dreams yet?, With an open mind it could come to you at any moment while reading the book and the moment you figure out why, you will discover a burst of energy in you to finally make that goal happen.

Powerful material, but needs to be deeper
Peter Voogd's career work at such a young age is impressive. I can tell that 6 Months to 6 Figures was written with good intent; however I would like to see more depth.Voogd mentions in his video segments, podcasts, and this book...how broke he was; or how frustrated he was in life, but never really gets specific with things. The most "deep diving" he does is mention he was "so broke that he couldn't afford fast food" at one point. I realize he's setting the narrative, but I would've liked to read something that's truly gripping.I do like the principles he brings to this book though. I especially like his description of his "prizefighter" morning rountine. There are elements like routines (among other things) that I plan on incorporating in my life.Overall, I do believe this is a book that can motivate people out of their funk and jump-start them on the way to success. Most of the content of this book did seem like it was taken from various seminars, but it is nice to read. Also most of the content was repeated at least three or more times, which is understanding, since repetition is a prominent foundation of learning. All that being said, I recommend anyone wanting to jump-start their lives in the right direction. If you want to live a lifestyle on your terms, then check out 6 Month to 6 Figures.

Good Material, Weak Presentation
I like Peter. I heard an interview he did with Jaime Tardy and knew right away that this guy has a great head on his shoulders.I was so inspired by his interview that I went out and bought his book.Let me tell you about the problems I have with this book:1) Poorly Edited. Personally, I am tired of conversations that go like this:Person – Your book has typos and all kinds of editing issues throughout it.Author – So what?! At least I WROTE a book! What did YOU do???WRONG ANSWER. A poorly edited book DOES matter. A poorly edited book is a reflection of YOU. It says that you"do not pay attention to details. It says you do not CARE about those details. And the above-shared attitude is saying that having "a" product is more important than having a quality product. While the information in the book could be inspiring, I reached a point where I started paying less attention to the info and more attention to anticipating the next typo/editing issue.2) The same information in a new voice.I am equally tired of “younger” life/business coaches filling up books and syllabuses with material THEY learned from Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy and Zig Ziglar. Yes, the information is timeless…but if you’ve read Personal Power or Awaken the Giant Within then you will quickly recognize the information when OTHER authors quote it. Peter's book is FILLED with information that has been around for over 20 years.I like Peter's energy, and I am sure there are MILLIONS of Twenty-Somethings who have not heard this material before. So I would imagine that they would be very pleased with this book. But if you are in your Forties and have been studying personal development for 20 years, this book offers nothing terribly "new".Just a fresh voice that might re-invigorate you.
