Seneca AV iPad Air 1 Stand and Mount Kit (SP13)

I use it with my iPad Air 1 on my desk with no mounting hardware. It's extremely heavy duty and sturdy. It looks great while moving and swiveling in all directions.The mounting piece that surrounds the iPad is basically a protective case and I may use it as one when detached from the stand. It's very easy to snap on, but it takes a little finger nail effort to remove it - so maybe more of a reason to always keep it on. It doesn't add too much weight (its made of rubber or plastic, whereas the stand is metal) and it exposes the logos, camera, and everything else. The back of the case is not flush, there's a circular plastic piece which surrounds the apple logo. This is where the stand locks into and it's raised by about a centimeter from the backside of the iPad.Overall, first impression is great and I started taking pictures and showing people as soon as it was setup.

its okay......my fear is that the thin and i mean very thin plastic that holds the pad to me i feel it doesnt grip very well and i fear it may wear very fast. i would feel more comfortable if the edges came more over the edges of the pad so to give a more secure fit. rest of the construction made of steel is great, just the part made of plastic that actually holds the pad in place needs to be more secure fit. i will use it since i purchased it and it would cost more to return it. but i plan on buying a more secure fit one. i was hoping for a better product. i can see why it went from $89 to $19.

So close to being a perfect product. The stand functions are awesome, the build quality is awesome, the way it moves and folds and comes with two mounts makes me just love it. But...There is a fatal flaw with this product and that is the way that the stand clamps to the back of the iPad case/holder. The case is made to rotate and as such uses a circular clamp that is made of plastic and is not aggressive enough to hold the iPad. It's too easy to half engage the clamp, and even when fully engaged the iPad will slip out with a slight tug or brushing past it if mounted on the wall. I want to love this stand but it destroyed my iPad Air. So close!

Gave my ipad a new meaning. Seriously. If you own an iPad Air in particular since this product is for the first air, this is a must have. You get two wall mounts and it's a killer move. I have mine on top of my couch. Sometimes I use my iPad as a clock, I have many, I have meaningless apps that are for decour and use them when having guest in my pad. This thing is beyond sturdy, great product you can scale it to however you need it to be. My iPad lives on this. Highly recommend it. You will not regret it.

I have tried a few stands for the iPad and this one is by far the best. It is well made, easy to assemble and a pleasure to use. The adjustments are so smooth and it holds its position well. I am not concerned about it falling over as it is so sturdy with a wide base and it hold the iPad securely. Also the different mounting options are great so you can use it on a wall, under a cabinet or as a table top stand.Great product for a great price!

This item came in at perfect timing. I am glad I purcahsed it. I am able to use it as a desk top as well as play it just about anywhere.

I like the stand and it's versatility, however, I have difficulty getting the joints tightened enough to hold in position. It tends to slide down.

I thought this would fit an iPad mini...it doesn't, so I will be returning this item :(
