Great for cutting through heavy clay soil; indestructible; favorite garden tool
This 10" pointed trowel is hands down my favorite garden tool. I do a lot of gardening so it gets heavy use each gardening season. We have heavy clay soil and it cuts right through the soil. I first purchased this one and a 14" trowel about 7 or 8 years ago. I purchased a new 10" through Amazon because I have almost misplaced my tool so many times and it would slow me down to garden without it. Now I have a backup. In the picture you can see the new one on the left; old tools on the right. The sharp edges of the tool have dulled some with the heavy use, but I hadn't noticed until I compared to the new tool. I'm sure I could get the old ones sharpened if I want. You should keep this tool out of reach of children as they are sharp enough to pierce skin...but that's what makes it a workhorse. Simply indestructible. I've used many trowels, and this one is in a class of its own. Highly recommend.

Better than any gardening trowel you can buy in the store
This gardening trowel is nothing short of amazing, and I speak from experience, having used a multitude of trowels over the years. It stands head and shoulders above the generic ones found in big box stores. The one-piece construction is a game-changer, making it a strong contender for indestructibility. Crafted from stainless steel, it not only boasts impressive durability but also remarkable rust resistance. I've left it outside for over two years, and it hasn't shown a hint of corrosion. It's become my trusty sidekick in the garden, tackling a wide range of tasks with ease and reliability. In the world of gardening tools, this trowel is a true standout, and I couldn't be more satisfied with its performance and resilience.

Terrific trowel for tougher soils/fibrous rooted areas
LOVE the Wilcox trowels. I'm incredibly frustrated with 'rebuying' things like tools. I don't have that problem with Wilcox's products. I have a trowel I purchased years ago from Wilcox that looks pretty much the same as it did then. The single piece construction makes it highly unlikely that I'll ever bend or break the blade and the handle is tough as nails and easily replaced if it should get damaged in some sort of catastrophic gardening event. This Fine Point is made the same way and it has a point that makes penetrating hard soils a snap. The edges are SHARP and should be treated with great respect, but that's the purpose of this trowel - to penetrate these tough or fibrous areas easily. I like the length - it's easy to handle and can get in small spaces. The longer pointed tip makes itself useful as well in getting between and closely against items without damage.Like the camping trowel I purchased, a leather sheath is in the future. Protection for the edges and for the gardener. Great quality tools that I hope to have for life.

Amazing quality tool that is a joy to use
My wife has been into indoor and outdoor gardening for a few years now and has gone through many cheap aluminum trowels in that time. I decided to make her a small kit of quality tools that will hopefully last a lifetime and this trowel was a perfect addition to the kit. It is a great quality tool made of solid stainless steel and feels like it will last a lifetime. After lots of research I decided to go with it because 1: it is one solid piece of stainless steel so it is strong and corrosion resistant 2: the handle is made out of plastic, not wood so you don't have to worry about it rotting away and 3: it is made in America. It fit perfectly in a Toyo/Trusco Y350.

Amazing product and customer service!
My Wilcox garden tool broke and I contacted customer service. They had me describe the break and upload a photo. Turns out I had been scammed, it was a lousy knock-off. They actually sent me an original Wilcox towel plus a dandelion puller! Free!! Just to be nice and in sympathy for being scammed!I have been using these tools nonstop for two years. They are fabulous! Cleanly dig out weeds, dig holes for bulbs, slice off side shoots to start new plants. And I have easily kept those pesky taproot weeds under control with ease. I am buying a set for my daughter who is new to horticulture. I cannot thank the Wilcox team enough for their kindness and customer service!!

Digs Deeply & Thoroughly With Little Effort
I love this small but mighty garden spade! I am a gardener recovering from shoulder surgery and had to find a way to garden with 1 hand and this little spade helped so much. It is easy to hold but feels solid and good in my hand and digs nicely to help plant and remove pesky weeds. I highly recommend.

Heavy duty
Seems very well made and sharp. Don't see how this could break (like past trowels).

Sturdy and well built
I had a fancy trowel before this, that snapped at the plastic handle with merely a moderate amount of force. Tell this one is built to last. The handle and business end are one single piece of stainless steel, which I don't think would be able to bend by hand. And it's fairly sharp too. Not sharp enough to cut you, but it has no problems with digging through compacted dirt. It's a little more expensive than the traditional trowels you'll see in stores, but I feel like it's built to last. I would not be surprised if it lasted a lifetime.

This trowel is awesome!
What a great trowel!! I hate it when they bend, and although I never thought I’d spend $30 on a trowel, after wasting so much money on useless ones, I figured it was better to invest in a good one. Am I ever glad I did! Our soil is very clay-based, and can get quite hard. No problem for this trowel. Would recommend to even a hobby gardener (like me) if you want a good tool to last.
