Size- See picture of a comparison of a standard flash drive. It's about 2x size of a flash drive (maybe 1.7x?). It's kind of long instead of square, which is convenient if you put them in bags.Operations- Recording has a dedicated button, making it fast to start recording- Playback is also the default action after saving, which is exactly what I needed- I use this to learn foreign languages, so this is exactly what I want: record, playback, record again, play again. This recorder can do this job very well with just one touch of a button for each step.Sound quality- Decent recording quality, but kind of expected as I'm recording at home.- The speaker is also good. No need for the headphones if you don't like using them.Random point- Don't throw away the manual. If you want to set the system clock, you'll need it

Menu is tricky to figure out, and recordings are a little noisy but not bad. Battery holds up good and built well.

If I hadn't thrown away the box and shipping material I'd send this thing back. It's small, too small, I have great difficulty reading the small window, the buttons are hard to push, and the instructions for me were of very little use. Unless your just a real techy, don't bother.

Ordered for school and it's great. It was plug and play so no need to download software. It came with earbuds so I can listen to the lectures while on the go. The only downside is that when I download to the computer, the play back isn't very loud. Overall great product

Difficult to use & a bit larger than thought.

Wanted product for recording dr visits with my mom. She forgets what the dr says. Does not download to our apple computer easily. Recording not as good as I expected. My phone records better. Dissappointed.

I ordered this for two reasons (and it hasn't disappointed!):1) For class lectures. That way I can play the recording back and know exactly how the professor explained something.2) For work. I work with some 100 doctors/fellows/residents/students on a daily basis and this is fantastic for meetings, dictations, notes, etc.It's super tiny and just hangs out in my pocket until I need it. Aesthetically, it's very sleek. Sound quality is good. My only issue (but not really) is the headphones it comes with. They're obviously cheap (see picture) like the ones you get on a flight, but I wasn't even expecting them anyway so it wasn't a real problem for me. Most people have their own preferred set of headphones these days as well. Great product.

It has everything, more features at this price point than anything else I've seen. Recording quality is more than sufficient, better than another I tried that was more expensive. Not having to deal with a usb cable is great. It is also not overly complicated like others have said, just follow the instructions - I was able to learn and navigate through everything in 5 minutes. AwesomeEDIT: It glitched out after 2 weeks, and would take forever to record anything. It would just sit there for like a minute, then start recording. I had to transfer my files and format it, and it seems to be working again. I'm not sure what the deal is but I'm putting this at a 1 star if it happens again.
