It is a lightweight one which is perfect for me since I recently delivered a baby. I am not able to work with a heavy weight one like I used to. So it will be ideal for someone who just starts to work out. But not useful to lose weight or body built as it is too light.

I really enjoy having this hula hoop, especially in the evenings I no longer am slouched on the couch while I'm watching tv but burning up to 210 calories per half hour! The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 stars is because I recently wanted to take it apart and bring it on vacation and it was really difficult. Also the lovely soft padding didn't seem like it would be able to take pulling it apart and putting it back together very much (you have to press on hoop very hard in certain areas and pull which can cause the fabric to rip. That being said my core feels stronger and this hoop was fantastic especially for the price!

I tried out the hula hoop yesterday. It's very flimsy. I never had a weighted hula hoop, but my friends is a lot more sturdy and I'm having trouble keeping the hula Coupe up. I believe I will be returning this.EDIT: 8/21/18The company had contacted me and did send me a replacement hula hoop, a steel one. It seems much more sturdier than the plastic, I will find out later. But I will say they have EXCELLENT customer service. I would definitely buy other products from them.

I was expecting something a lot more heavy I got it thinking it was and when it arrived it was incredibly light weight a normal hula hoop is more heavy perhaps but definitely not the weight I was expecting but it is pretty well made and I like that you can take it apart and store it in a smaller place if needed

Edit : I was contacted by the seller and was provided with a new hoop. This one was sturdier so I was able to do some tricks. This one did not fall apart when dropped. First one must have been a flukeNot bad, but not great. Expected it to be flimsy since it is adjustable but it's crazy flimsy. Also not ideal if you want to do tricks. I dropped it once and it came apart. So if you're just standing there, or doing easy tricks it's ok. But for more advanced hooping I'd go with something else.

I use this hula hoop often when I do my daily exercise. The pink foam is defective (separating) in several spots only on the pink the grey foam is fine. I had to use silicone or tape so it doesn't continue to separate. It has not been a full year that I have owned it. It is starting to look like something I pick up at a garage sale.

I will come back to update the effect of hula hoop after a few weeks.This hula hoop is out of my expectation, it's well made, with a soft cover, won't hurt me at all.The weight is what I want, expect the effect of weight loss.

Got it for my mom. It was too heavy for her, but she kept it anyway.

This hula hoop is poorly made. The foam wrap was severely dented and ripped upon receipt. Straight from the box it looked like it had years of use.

It works great but be careful using it near anything. The padding around it breaks off super easy.

You can really feel the work out after just 10 minutes.

Not for me, had bruises on hips and waste. Not sure why it is called a massage hoop, no massaging took place.
