AnnieSalon Style Soft Flexible Twist Hair Rollers Pack of 3 - 10" Long and 1 3/16" in Diameter Plum - Hair Curling and Styling Tools

I bought two packs each of the dark green and plum twist rollers because I knew I’d need more than one pack’s worth of rollers for my hair, as it is past my shoulders. I am admittedly bad at styling my hair, and whenever I use a curling iron, my curls never seem to hold for very long. These twist rollers are nearly idiot-proof. There is a learning curve when it comes to finding the best placement for them, but the results speak for themselves. I wash my hair at night, throw it in a turbi-towel for 30-45 mins, and apply some heat protectant before I blow dry for a few mins. You want your hair to be a little damp. I am a side sleeper, but on each side of my head, I use a rollers above my ears about an inch from my hairline (like where “Mickey” ears would be), and another above and behind my ears. For the back of my head, I roll the remaining hair on the top of my head. I did buy a silk hair bonnet to wear on top at night to lessen the frizz (as I tend to move in my sleep). In the morning, I get dressed and do my makeup before removing everything and it looks fabulous! I gently rake and separate the curls, lightly spritz some hairspray, and I am good to go! My curls last all day and look like a million bucks.

Trying to streamline my work mornings, I wanted something that would create big wavy curls, but not require the whole wash, dry, curl routine befor work. Before sleep I shower and wash my hair, towel dry it, add product (I use Perfect Hair Day 5 in 1), brush and section, then roll up the curls. These are comfortable to sleep in, but like any soft bendy curlers, the best way to keep them in place is with a cap. I pull a satin cap over the curlers, then got to sleep. The cap keeps the curlers in place. But he time I wake up, I take out the rollers, shake my head, and am ready to go. Now that I’ve practiced with the rollers, it only takes about 5 minutes to get them in at night… a huge time savings in the morning, especially since i now shower at night. Work great, pretty comfy, need a cap to hold in place. I think I bought 5 satin caps for $10

They do not bend as advertised which make them useless because you can’t keep them in your hair. They’re heavy and because they don’t bend much they fall and pull your hair. Can’t return either, so it was a waste of money, too.

They here way to big for me, they were made well but made for long hair

I used these on my sister in law first so has a lions mane of natural curls but wanted a loose curl look for her wedding. All 8 were used because she had so much hair. Be careful how wet the hair is when you put them in because it will take a long time to dry if the hair is too saturated. I used them on myself next and only used 6 because I have less hair and it still worked out great. A little awkward to sleep in, but this did not cause any unraveling.

I love using them and have not been finding them locally for a while. I have fairly thick hard that goes down to mid shoulder. I put my hair up in a loose ponytail using a stretchy cloth type of hair tie. I divide my hair into 3 sections, dampen withwater and roll each section up. The result is large soft curls that I get lots of compliments on. Just make sure that after washing and drying your hair you use a curling iron with some hairspray like Paul Mitchell to give your hair some extra body before using th

The flexi rods were bigger than I imagined they are made well. Arrived quickly.

These rollers do not stay in your hair, they do not fold up enough to allow them to be placed in your hair so they can stay and allow enough time for even damp hair to dry. Not a happy customer, they are completely useless for their intended purpose. I can't see any way to make them work and stay in your hair, at best they form a slight curve but no where near enough to keep them from falling out of your hair, very disappointing

These flexi-rods are great, although I still have to master my technique for using them. My only complaint is that I wish they came with more than just three. I will have to buy another set if I want to have all my hair in the rollers.I'm not sure if this is related to the product, using flexi rods in general, or my inexperience, but the curls did not stay in very long. I will have to troubleshoot and find the best way to make them last
