Nice bright white light but H7 fitting may be awkward to install. Will not pass MOT.
Bought these to replace the halogen units on my wifes Ford focus C-Max that kept having to be replaced every 4 months.Fitting these H7 LED lamps should have been a breeze as the headlight unit is relatively simple to remove. After removing the plastic watertight cover access to halogen units and removing the electrical connector and unclipped the spring unit the halogen lamp can be removed, easy with no problems here. Unfortunately fitting the LED units and securing the spring clip was a task and a half. The problem was that the spring clip was not wide enough to go over the fan unit on the LED lamp. Eventually after several attempts I removed the clip from its pivoting points, set the LED lamp into the locating socket fitting the spring clip around the narrow body of the LED lamp under the fan and then using long nosed pliers refitted the spring clip back into the pivot holes. Then I had to gently force the LED sliding it into the socket hole, hoping not to damage the lamp, success! The let was now inlace for the clip. It was quite awkward but I managed to securely clamp the H7 LED lamp with the spring clip. After getting the nearside lamp fitted I was then ready for the off side LED.After testing both lamps where working I rescued the headlight units in place. I went out in the car tonight and the new LED lamps are great with a brighter whiter light much better than the halogen units ever where.Would defiantly recommend these LED lamps but beware fitting is very awkward with the H7 fitting. But beware they will fail an MOT.Unfortunately I had to change these back to halogen units as these LED lamps will not pass the MOT in Northern Ireland even when set to the lowest setting (using the dash light beam adjuster) and adjusting the headlights to there lowest setting. The beam is not good when tested and will dazzle oncoming motorists. I must admit I did get occasional flashing from other motorists.

East to install and make a huge difference.
Took ten minutes to install H7 dipped beam (after twenty minutes of youtube videos to learn what to do) and worked straight away. Much better than old lights but have had to adjust the lights as I was getting flashed to start with. I drive a Ford Mondeo Mk 3 and these fit perfectly, only thing I need to do now is get the H1 kit for the main beam.

Really bright bulbs. Not the best for headlights as dont give great beam image so would be more suited to full beam or day running lights but give off a good white light

Easy to install?
These are advertised as 'plug and play' and easy to install. I purchased these for my Mercedes E Class but I have found it impossible to install them, bearing in mind that most modern cars have a rubber cover over the back of the headlamp to protect them from dust and water. Nearly impossible to get them fitted in the car and, in the end, gave up and put the original bulb back. I shall try to get a garage to fit them however the cost could be exorbitant, which slightly ruins the idea of these being 'good value'. I would suggest that, unless you have quite advanced mechanical skills, you will find these as difficult to install as I did - or rather didn't.

Good bright bulbs but were a bit of a phaff to fit on a B6 Passat. I had to adapt the retaining clip to fit on the bulb, fortunately the collar on the bulb can be eased off to put the modified clip on it.

Though all good
Needed decoder kits for my car Merc class 60 plate, also a little problem fitting. I had to take the retainer off the bulb to mount. Though all good now
