We bought this product prior to going camping, and we are very glad we did. Our campsite was on the water and the wind coming off the water was very strong. We had also brought a traditional butane lighter and planned to use this as the backup. Because of the wind, we almost exclusively ended up using the RONXS lighter to start the charcoal and to light our campfire at night. It seriously was a lifesaver and also saved us an inconvenient trip to the store. It's super easy to use, and the fact that you can bend the end makes it even easier to light candles and places that are harder to reach - like our charcoal chimney starter.The only negative was that the battery life could have been a little better with how much we were using it, but it charges quickly and was not a big deal. It also looks like they now have newer models with even higher battery capacity.The power also went out at our house, and we have a gas stove. When the power is out, the igniter does not work - this lighter did a perfect job of igniting the gas and allowing us to use the stove with ease while the power was out.We also have used it on candles indoors and it lights them up quickly with no issue.

I've been using this thing for 3 years (just to light candles, not every day), and it still works wonderfully. The battery life is decent - I've recharged mine a few times, which has never been an issue.The sound does bother my cats (don't worry, I keep a close eye on my cats when any candle is lit), so I usually have to take it to a separate room to light.I do always use a small bit of paper towel to clean soot off the metal after each use.

I'm a big fan of USB electric lighters. We're a big candle burning household, and before it seemed like the regular lighters would always go out at the most annoying times. Not a problem anymore! This is my second USB lighter, and they have come a long way since the first one I got years ago. Love the bendable neck and the controls are more intuitive than the last one. I know it's brand new, but the battery life has improved as well. I don't have to recharge this thing for months at a time.

This works great as a lighter! The bendable wand is very convenient for reaching into awkward areas for lighting a grill for example. It looks pretty cool too when it's being used and doubles as a good tool to scare siblings with ;)My only complaint is it's definitely on the noisier side. It is by no means loud, but there's a crackling sound it makes as well as a very high-pitched dog whistle tone. It hasn't bothered me but if you have sensitive ears and will be using it for extended periods of time, this might be something to consider.Overall, it's a great value for the money, as I'm sure I'm going to more than make up its cost from all the gas lighters I will no longer need to buy and replace.

My girlfriend loves candles, and I hate the typical lighters, so I wanted to look for something that was safe, easy to use, and durable. This lighter met all the criteria and more. It is USB chargeable, but I've only had to charge it once in the 2 years I've been lighting candles for my girlfriend. It's so easy to use, and there's next to 0 risk of burning yourself unless you actively are trying to touch the tip of the lighter. The lighter head is flexible, so you can get into all sorts of spaces without having to physically bring your hand near it. THIS PRODUCT IS A MUST-GET FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS A SAFER, DURABLE LIGHTER.

I never thought I'd find a replacement for those PITA liquid fuel/propane striker type fire starters and candle lighters. Well, these folks are onto something - I will usually just try one of something new to see if a.) it really works and b.) it's going to last. For some reason, between reviews and the video, I ordered two. These things work awesome! My wife has been lighting her candles nightly, since they came! (I was aware of the need to keep the tip out of candle wax, so I explained that to my wife when I gave it to her as well as showing her why) She's had to charge hers once... it's been about 6 weeks now. I can't wait to get camping again and start lighting our Solo Wood Stove with mine! I have a built in USB charger in our pass-through compartment on our 5th wheel camper, so it will be simple to keep it charged, as well!

My wife burns a LOT of candles and some are hard to reach with a typical propane lighter. This new electric arc lighter, with the flexible neck, is perfect. It's rechargeable and so easy to use even I can do it. It even works on short candle wicks.

I purchased this mainly because my husband has dexterity issues that make it tough to use standard stick lighters with their childproof safety triggers. We don't have kids so don't need a safety lighter. This one is easy to use, just slide the switch to on and press a button.It works quite well to light candles. The opening is small and it's just a bit difficult if the wick is bent over or short. Mostly no issues there.We've also used it to light paper to start our fire pit. This is a little more difficult but with practice is getting easier.Lighting incense/punk sticks takes several seconds to achieve a light.My biggest disappointment is battery life. I fully charged the lighter before using. We've only used it a few days. Even with the issues with getting some things to light, I can't imagine we've done more than 100 ignitions. The power light is already down to 2 (5 is full charge). It's not a huge issue to recharge it but I was definitely disappointed when the description states it should last 500 uses.

Eigentlich wollte ich mir nur so ein Fancy-Spielzeug kaufen, das man mal rausholt um Freunde zu beindrucken. Aber wie cool ist das denn: Ein Feuerzeug, das mit Strom funktioniert - beliebig oft aufladbar mit einem schönen Schwanenhals, damit man sich die Finger nicht verbrennt und eine beeindruckende Zündleistung mit der man vom Blatt Papier bis zu einer Kerze mit schwerem Docht alles in Brand setzen kann! Das Feuerzeug ist mittlerweile das einzige, das bei mir aktiv in Verwendung ist, weil meine anderen entweder leer oder kaputt sind.

Parfait, (utilisation pour allumer les plaques de cuissons + bougies) juste un léger bruit très aigu à l'utilisation (sans doute techniquement obligatoire) qui peux déranger les plus jeunes (et sans doute les animaux aussi), ce n’est pas fort ni très long car cela brûle instantanément.A voir la durée d’utilisation, mais l'achat semble plutôt bon par rapport aux briquets jetables. Et peut-être aux allumettes mais je ne sais pas ce qui impact le plus la planète entre une batterie au lithium et quelques milliers d’allumettes

This is by a very long way the best gas cooker and candle lighter we have ever known. It charges from a USB and holds its charge for a very long time. When the on off slide switch is pushed to the on position up to 5 blue lights show the level of charge, and when the easy to use igniter button is then depressed a continuous "spark" is held across the two prongs at the end of the device until the igniter button is released. The neck of the device is infinitely posable and holds any position without any difficulty. This makes it easy to light gas rings and candles, and is especially useful for lighting or re-lighting candles in a bowl, decorative lantern or night light. When the igniter button is released the continuous "spark" instantly disappears making the device very safe as it can not be left on and turns off if dropped. This is an application of modern technology that vastly improves on all previous devices for the purpose.
