Quiet and blows good air, plugged right in and works great with my motherboard fan control
This fan fit right into a slot and the 3-pin plug fit fine into a 4-pin fan plug on my motherboard (ASRock Taichi x399), and I am able to control the speed via my motherboard fan control utility. The fan is very quiet at full blast and almost silent at lower speeds, and moves good air. This is my work PC so I wanted it to be silent, and so I bought a graphics card that only has a passive heatsink, no fan. But when playing games it gets too hot to touch and slows down. So I bought this fan to try to keep the heat under control only during those times that I play games (very rarely). Wow what a big difference! After 20 minutes of game play the graphics card heatsink is barely warm, an enormous difference from the previous too hot to touch! So in short, this fan works as advertised. It includes a power adapter for the older style (round pin) power plugs used on older hard disks and some instructions for splicing it into an existing plug. I'm a little surprised that the adapter isn't for more modern SATA style power plugs. It includes a one page instruction sheet that tries to pack some good technical info into few words and not the clearest english ever, but I suspect in 99% of the cases the instructions aren't needed anyway as this will likely just plug right in to any modern motherboard with a free fan plug, or any PC power supply using the included adapter. So in short, it fits as advertised, plugs right in, is quiet, moves lots of air and works great with the motherboard built in fan controller if you have one, or plugs in with the included adapter if needed.

Quieter than expected!
The fans work as advertised and they are quieter than I was expecting. I can’t comment on the longevity of the fans, but they seem quality enough to last. It’s definitely a good buy if you are using an HBA in your system and need additional cooling. Works really well for a home server build.

Works well but sags
It is "customizable" if you need to move the fans around or remove a fan or 2 but i did have to use my GPU sag bracket as there is only one screw holding the fans wish there was a white option to match my PC build but I'm happy

Works decently but noisy after only a month.
It works well for the price but the rear bracket that holds it into the PCIe panel is flimsy but does work fine. The biggest issue is after only a month one of the fans developed a rough noise on start up but it slowly goes away after about a minute. Still completely usable just kind of annoying and worrying when if first started as I thought one of my main fans of water pump were going bad.

Very quiet. 3 speed option with power adapter.
GPU was running hot. This dropped it by 15c. Slim, quiet, easy install. Running at full speed.

MEH - First one lasted four years, second SIX MONTHS buy something else
Update: Replaced one (same brand and model) that failed after ~4 years. Well, the second one lasted SIX MONTHS and now the furthermost fan from the back of the case has the bearing going out and making a fair bit of noise. The quality has gone down the toilet -- four years is reasonable service for something like this in a server but six months is not; buy someone else's instead this is, sadly, junk. If you have a PC or server chassis with PCI cards that have no fan on them and are running warmer than you'd like this is a good solution. This is the second one of these I've bought -- the first was good for about 4 years and got quite noisy, thus was replaced before failure. That's not terrible service life for what it is and its inexpensive.

Easy to use and nothing to lose
I don't know why there are negative reviews. This thing is easy to install if you have extra system fan headers. There are no instructions needed if you're even considering buying this. You most likely know how to put together a pc. I used this and it brought my gpu temps down a whole 15 degrees. At idle if I want to, I can speed it up to 65% and it'll bring my gpu temps down a whole 20 degrees. In order to control my fan speed on this I used armoury crate since I have an Asus motherboard. For $16 or whatever you can't go wrong with running this. As for longevity if it lasts 6 months it'll be worth the money.

Noisy bugger, does help with temperature a bit
Noise: First thing I noticed after install was the whiny, whirry, plastic-on-plastic sound that only a cheap fan can make. (I'm used to Noctuas so there is a high bar for my preference.)Temperature: In a 25°C room, I tested the GPU temperature with the FurMark GPU stress test; idle temperatures dropped from 39°C to 34°C, and after 10 minutes of continuous stress testing these extra fans lowered workload temperatures from 72°C to 70°C. I connected the fans to the motherboard's case fans, so I'm sure better temperatures could be achieved if these were added to the GPU's fan connection instead.Takeaway: Not terrible for the price, does work, but noisy when GPU is idle. There are mounting kits you can buy that allow you to add your own fans (hopefully quieter ones than these) in a similar PCI slot fan mount fashion. Also there are aftermarket GPU coolers (Arctic Accelero and RAIJINTEK) if you're willing to replace your GPU's stock cooling system.
