Quite rich and thick, but absorbs quickly. A little too heavy for those with oily / combination skin.
I had high hopes for this product, with it containing Sea Buckthorn and being well reviewed. However, it was just a little too heavy for my skin. To begin, the pump bottle is great, it is easy to release just the right amount and this form of packaging is much more hygienic than a jar. The cream on application has a mild ( and slightly medicinal) scent, but I found throughout the day I would get a whiff of it; not the best of things as I am not a fan of the quite strange scent. The cream itself applies well to the skin, feeling thick on the hands but settling in and absorbing quickly into the skin. My face was not left feeling heavy or shiny, but it certainly does not have a matte effect or anti-shine type finish. This is understandable as the product is designed for dry skin types it seems. However, after a few hours my skin would feel quite greasy and 'clogged', without feeling heavily nourished either.I used it day and night as a moisturiser, and it just felt like too much for my skin. After using it twice daily for a week, feeling like it was potentially clogging and giving shine to my skin, I tried to use it at night only for a few weeks. Whilst it did not break me out, it did not prevent or aid with reducing redness either. In the mornings, my skin would often look greasier than usual, though it did seem to moisturise well.Overall, the unsatisfactory finish and lack of general redness reduction meant it was not suitable for the day, and the greasy feeling it left the morning after made it unsuitable for nightly use. I now use this cream once every few days, at night only, but would not order again as it does not really suit my skin.Saying all this however, I must note that this would be great for those with dry skin, as it seems nourishing and quite heavy, whilst still sinking into the skin pretty quickly. It simply did not suit my combination / oily skin as it was a little too rich; a lighter gel type moisturiser may be better for oilier skin types.

Bought in hope it would help with Rosacea
I've been using this for around a month. I have had Rosacea on and off for a number of years and in in the past year it has got increasingly worse. The main problem I have is with redness, which looks rashy. I have found that this product has reduced the symptoms I have. My face is still blotchy and problematic, but on the whole, the severe redness had decreased significantly. It is still temperamental in that some days it'll be worse than others but in general I am finding it beneficial. I have been using a little concealer foundation in the last year or so as I was just too conscious of it when out and about, I still use a little each day, but markedly less is needed since using the sea buck-thorn.I use it just before bed, after cleansing my skin, and then once in the morning after showering, as a kind of base layer for the concealer.Just to reiterate, it has now worked miracles, but it has been a good step to hopefully fixing the problem. I will add to my review in due course if for example, using this cream for a more extensive period of time improved the skin even more.I will be buying more when this bottle runs out, which is a revelation for me as after trying so many things to help the problem, both external and in terms of what I am eating etc, nothing seems to clear it up.

Works for Me :)
I have been using Sea Buckthorn for over a year ... Near the end of my 2nd cream.I use Rozex at night & cream in the morning.I have red rashes/blotches ... suffer from the white pimples if I don't use Rozex. Not wanting to use Rozex morning & night as I've been on it for a long, long time ... I think they both work well together ...The only thing I've just started to notice is when I use my powder pad for my anti shine powder(The Balm - Sexy Muma) it's transferring oil onto the powder ... So I have to regularly change the pad or wash it ... :-/I get flare ups ... Never quite sure what it is ... Chocolate deffo gives me spots :(I haven't drank dairy milk in years ... I don't drink coffee ... Not a big hot liquid drinker at all in fact ... Don't drink alcohol that much either ... I think my skin problem was from using a steroid cream for too long when I was young :(So properly Rozex that really made a difference for me ... But got dry skin using morning & night ... Found a happy medium ...I will be ordering again :)

Give it a try
I dont usually write reviews, but after using this for about a week, i want to let people know all about it. I have had Rosacea for about 4 years, and have tried other products and all of them have made my skin instantly red, and usually leave my skin feeling tight & dry. This feels like a normal moisturiser, in that it leaves my skin looking & feeling lovely. My skin seems to have no reaction to it when i put it on, which is a first for me. Whether or not it will address my redness(this is not very bad anyway) remains to be seen, but my first impressions are very good. Price is very reasonable too. I will be buying this again for sure. I know everyone suffers differently with this skin problem, but i would definitely recommend trying this out.

SUMMERBEE SEA BUCKTHORN CREAM....A MUST TRY
I have quite sensitive skin and suffer from rosacea and after having tried other sea buckthorn products I thought I'd try this. I think the price is quite good and even though a bit dearer you do get more for your money as other products are only 50 ml and 75 ml. This one is 100 ml so I think is good value for money. The cream itself is easily applied and absorbed fairly quickly and hardly smells. My redness does seem to have calmed down quite a lot since I've been using this and my rosacea acne flair ups seem few and far between now. It doesn't make my face sore neither. I fully recommend this cream but understand that it might not help everyone. Give it a try and see. At the minute I use it just once in the mornings and I'd like to add that along with this cream I am taking high strength Vitamin E capsules. There is just one disappointing thing that I hope the maker will sort and that is it doesn't have a Sun Protection Factor incorporated into it. To me this is quite an important feature to help rosacea and hopefully they will take this on board and incorporate one. That will make it, in my opinion, much better.
