beautiful and durable
The checks and register fit snugly, but a perfect fit. The leather is heavy and very nicely done. I wanted something sturdier and, while a fine finish would have been great, I figured this one would take a beating and still look as good in 10 years. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Don't Buy This if you use Duplicate Checks
I use checks that have a carbon duplicate. This checkbook, although it is very sturdy and as otherwise described, does not have the usual flap that allows you to place it under a check so that the writing does not transfer through to the next check. I was very disappointed. If you use the duplicate checks, do not order this checkbook. I cannot use it.

Very good quality checkbook cover
Became tired of slicing my fingers on the free or cheap, low quality, short lived plastic checkbook covers provided by banks and/or check printers. I was pleasantly surprised with the texture, feel and quality of this bison leather checkbook cover. I recommend this product and expect it to last a long time. My healed, formerly sliced fingers are now able to type a short review such as this without discomfort. Yes, there are still some companies that do not have the ability to receive electronic bill payments.

Beautiful leather. One criticism
Hard to find this anywhere retail at a reasonable price. Beautiful leather. One criticism: it is sized slightly small. Could be a little longer and wider, say 1/8" length & width. Checks & register are a tight fit. But I love it anyway. It may stretch some with use over time.

Attractive Checkbook Cover
This checkbook cover is nice-looking, well-constructed, and sturdy. It's very tight, though. The book of checks and check register do not slide in easily. After several attempts, I had to force them in.

Tough As Nails
This tough leather cover is nicely made and seems very tough...in a good way. It will certainly outwear and outlast anything I have. If you want rugged and love leather this is your "go to."

Good tough yet handsome checkbook cover. I don't like having someones name on my checkbook cover, so I set it up so Hunter Allen's name was on the back. I use this with a plastic duplicate cover ordered separately. It fits my needs. If you desire a leather checkbook cover, this one ought to last a lifetime.
