Betty Dain Satin Pillowcase, Standard / Queen Size, Black (Set of 2)

It stained my sheets, and I can’t get the black out. Great quality tho.

The ad states it is a “set of 2”and the box it arrived in also has “set of 2”written on the tag but I only received 1. Contacted Amazon and they refunded my purchase.

i absolutely adore these pillowcases. In fact, this is the second time I've ordered the two pack (I now have four). I personally have highly processed hair and I spent a good amount of time trying to find pillowcases that wouldn't tangle my hair but also wouldn't break the bank, and these checked both those boxes.I love that they have a zipper to hold the pillow, the fabric is so slippery I feel like the pillow would be constantly sliding out otherwise. It also helps to give them a very sleek appearance.Unlike some of the other reviewers I haven't had any trouble with bleeding, but I also wouldn't wash these along with light colored fabrics, and I probably wouldn't put them on white sheets. These are inexpensive black pillowcases so some dye bleeding isn't all that surprising.One major upside to the color is that as someone who continually dyes her own hair unnatural colors I never have to worry about my pillowcases looking dirty from dye stains. I have gone to bed with damp teal hair and these still looked brand new in the morning. I would highly suggest these to anyone else who has unnatural colored hair!

I got these pillow cases because I recently had hair extensions sewn in and satin reduces the friction damage on your hair when you sleep and it also helps with bed head. I wasn't super crazy about the idea of sleeping with satin pillows, I love my soft cotton ones, but these were actually really comfortable, easy to sleep on, and I didn't wake up with messy hair! I'm a satin convert! The only thing that I didn't think was great was that they're not as long as I would like. I have average pillows, two queens I bought from Walmart, they're two different pillows and I had to stuff both of them in a little so that their cases would zip. I didn't have to stuff a whole lot, they're not that short, but you would think that they would be long enough to easily fit an average queen. All in all I'm glad I bought them.

I looove these. I am a black female with a short hair cut and it is haaaard keeping my hair intact. I am unable to tie my hair up because one, it gives me a headache and two, it always made my hair too flat. These pillow cases have been a life saver. My style lasts longer and I don't see hair breakage on the case when I wake up. Also, no wrinkles from the case on my face. I have referred them to all my family and friends. My first set lasted about a year before I just recently purchased new ones. The people I have referred these pillowcases to, keep thanking me over and over because they love them.

Ordered a black set of these, but received pink instead. I wanted black mainly because I didn't want any oils or whatever smearing on the pillow and also to match with my bedding. Other than that it has been working great. I usually wrap my hair up in some type of scarf or bonnet and somehow it'll make it's way halfway off by morning. With this I feel much more protection, I even slept without any bonnet/scarf and my hair wasn't all over my head as it would be with a cotton pillowcase. I don't know the percentage amount of satin, but it feels very soft and smooth.

I gave these satin pillow cases 5 stars because they arrived on time, in good condition, and they were exactly as described. I bought the pillow cases because I heard that they were better than cotton pillow cases as far as my natural hair was concerned. I hate buying online because I like to see and touch what I am buying, however, after searching for awhile and not finding any satin pillow cases in my local department stores I finally gave up and ordered them online and I am glad I did. It's been about a month and so far so good. The pillow case fits my pillow perfectly and it's like sleeping on the cool side of the pillow... all the time. As for whether or not a satin pillow case is actually better for my hair? I don't really know yet, but I don't regret the purchase either way.I would recommend them.

My hairstylist recommended that I purchase satin pillowcases as my hair can be quite fragile and I wanted to do anything I could to cut down on breakage. I bought these because they were a really great price and I liked the added hidden zipper feature. To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect since it is at a much better price point than many others - especially when there are 2 in an order. I couldn't be happier. They hold up very well while washing on the gentle cycle, and though they seem a bit stiff and bulky out of the package, they don't feel that way at all. I ended up buying two sets and now they are the only pillowcases I use.

They’re ok, they do the job but I still wake up with frizzy, tangled hair. Not as much as if i slept on the regular cotton pillow cases. They do start to get a bit stringy eventually. Not too much but doesn't stay silky smooth. It does the job for the price. However, I only received 1 case instead of 2. So beware of that.

Cuando la saque de su empaque me molesto el que se sintiera dura, como si no fuera de satin, pero no sé si le ponen un tipo almidón porque después de la lavada quedo realmente suave como el satin. Sirve muy bien para las que tenemos el cabello rizado ya que reduce el frizz.

Love this product so much that I ordered more. This shipment arrived with only one pillowcase as on previous order but I trust and know they will fulfill my order

This item only comes with one pillowcase, despite being advertised as two. After returning it to exchange for one with two, I waited over a week and received only one pillowcase again. Fairly disappointing and cannot recommend, based on this experience.

La compré por recomendación para evitar el frizz en el cabello y ayudar a prevenir arrugas en el rostro. El frizz controlado, de las arrugas no tengo comentario aún.
