Brooklyn Roasting Company Fair Trade Certified Ethiopian Natural Kochere Coffee: 12oz Tin [WHOLE BEAN]

Oh boy, I kept telling myself not to buy light roast beans from Amazon but these loads of selections keep luring me back, yet nothing really satisfied me yet. Here's another classic example of an eye catching packaging and descriptions. Long story short, beans roasted pretty spot on (light roast) but tasted stale. God knows how long ago this was roasted. I get the old berry taste and also left a subtle unpleasant bitterness in your mouth. There's also this annoying spice almost like clove flavor in my brew. Mind you I'm using a Chemex with usual around 20-22 grind setting on my Baratza Virtuoso, so I got the basic stuffs covered.Here's my suggestion if you're looking for a fruit BOMB (strawberry note) that's absolutely delicious and fresh.. go look up Panama natural from Stereoscope Coffee in Buena Park, CA. Dare I say it's better than any dry process/natural Ethiopian beans I've tried. Might need to check them back for restock if they're out. It will be your next favorite.

I have been purchasing high-quality coffee beans for some time, and this is by far the best coffee I've had.The berry notes are exceptionally bright, and the coffee has a smooth and sweet finish. Best enjoyed black, no sugar, prepared using the pour-over method.

This coffee was good, but not as berry as advertised. I think some lighter roasting would bring out more of the jammy taste. I do love the tin though and am reusing it for other coffees!

Quite simply, I wasn’t sure about blueberry coffee. But omg this stuff is absolutely delicious. Worth every penny. Drink with a bit of sweet cream and it tastes soooooooo good. I’m addicted.

Phenomenal! Read an interview with Gweneth Paltrow where she raved about this coffee . While I usually am not impressed with celebrity reviews something made me want to try it and am so glad I did. My coffee snob husband LOVES it. We liked it so much I sent my son the espresso for his fancy machine which he LOVED. Best find ever.
