Dunlop Deluxe Bass Guitar Stringwinder

This winder seems to be well made and does a great job when replacing strings on my Fender bass.

This winder is sturdy and fits all of my sons basses including his Fender with the clover leaf tuning pegs.

I had purchased the Planet Waves Bass Pro-Winder String Winder and Cutter and it was just terrible (see my review). This Dunlop is completely the opposite - it is well made, solid construction and materials, priced reasonably and can handle the larger bass tuners without effort. Great job Dunlop!

This winder fits the vintage style tuners on my Squier CV 60’s Jazz Bass. It’s works great. Really speeds up the string changing process.

Great string winder thought I would give the Dunlop one ago after my other one broke no faults from me on this tool.

ça fait le boulot sur différents modèle de mécaniques avec plus ou moins de bonheur et c’est paraît -il compatible avec les grosses mécaniques de contrebasse je n’ai pas encore testé cette fonctionnalité mais c’était la raison de mon achat.

Usavo un generico avvolgitore da chitarra anche sul basso, ma questo è specifico e mi è molto più comodo, pagato un'inezia. Peccato per le tempistiche, ho dovuto aspettare un bel po' che tornasse disponibile, ma non avevo urgenza.

Der "Roadpro Bass String Winder" aus dem Hause Dunlop schien, der Beschreibung nach, und weil er schließlich ein Markenprodukt ist, für den relativ niedrigen Preis ein Schnäppchen zu sein.Ich entschloss mich zu dem Kauf, da meine bisherige Saiten-Kurbel (einer anderen Firma), die ich problemlos über viele Jahre in Betrieb hatte, ihren Dienst nicht mehr tat.Entweder, ich habe ein typisches "Montags-Produkt" erwischt, oder aber, die Qualität all dieser Teile ist ziemlich miserabel.Beim Saitenwechsel auf dem Kontrabass stellte sich heraus, dass bereits nach einigen Umdrehungen Abrieb-Späne im Kurbel-Kopf entstanden und dass sich - sehr ärgerlich - schwarze Plastik-Rückstände an den Bass-Wirbeln bildeten.Nach vollzogenem Saitenwechsel sah der Winder aus, als ob er bereits jahrelang in Betrieb gewesen sei.Hinzu kommt, dass der Kurbel-Kopf ständig vom zu drehenden Wirbel abrutscht, also nicht ordentlich "greift". Das gleiche trifft für den Saitenwechsel beim E-Bass zu.Letztlich ist die Verbindungs-Schraube, die Griff und Kopf des Winders zusammenhält, viel zu locker angezogen, sodass die Kurbel, bei Benutzung, ständig klappert.Der String Winder sieht bestenfalls gut aus - aber das war's auch schon.Klares Fazit:Keine Kaufempfehlung!
