Had purchased this for both observing distance subjects and macro photography. Works good as you can hold torch from 4-6 feet distance away from subject and immediately take photo as you can focus quickly. But it's been advised not to use for frogs. So now restricting only to observing distance subjects.Very long torch(10+ inches) so need to manage space for it normal or camera backpack.Brightness is good and I have seen it's been given to forest gaurds for night emergencies or observing. But it is not very bright compared to compact Fenix brand torch which as more lumens and Fenix model has wide angle mode that can lit big patch forest which is not possible with torch brand. But Fenix branded PD-32 costs 2-3K ₹ extra compared to this model. So this model of brightlite is to observe subjects from long distances.This torch has micro-USB port and can be charged with any USB cables used for mobile phones for data transfer. Has battery indicator which turns from red to green on full charge. The button has 2 modes, i.e., full power and power saver. The order should have been reverse according to me.This is a gulf brand and your getting an imported item. So your getting international charger adapter. The box seal was open and resealed. This was because of 'Thank you' note inserted by Indian retailer of this brand: Lightman. Instead of opening they could have placed the note outside the box and wrapped the box and note together.Note: Though I mentioned use it for observing and photographing wild creatures I always excercise caution. Please exercise caution and use it very minimal as it can disturb nocturnal creature. Some creatures will get stunned by bright light or their pupil start to shrink to adjust to the light as they are not expecting to be exposed to bright light at night. So respect the nocturnal creatures's welfare while using bright torches.

Good purchase....once fully charged it retains it charge for several months....I have been using it for night bird and nature photography in forests. Does well to light up subjects upto 30 meters....but the throw is even further!!

The product I received was faulty and the battery was not getting charged

Product is excellent

It was issued by Govt of Karnataka to my dad's whole team who was serving as ANF commando. Now after 15 years I've failed to get the battery and its charger anywhere in my city.
