Great for topping off the koi pond
Has been life saving for the fish in my koi pond. The hot, windy summer has resulted in the need for several top offs. I leave the filter on the spigot, simplifying adding water as needed. I open it to a low flow rate to optimize filtering and use a timer on my phone to ensure I don’t effect too large of a water change. This is a vast improvement over my last filter which required me in install it for each use and store in an airtight container to ensure it didn’t dry out.

Great for filling hot tub
Very happy with water softening when filling our hot tub with classically hard Florida water. I don't notice any slowdown in flow, so this is great for applications where you need large quantities of water (filling tubs, ponds, etc.).
