Just as the picture of the item was shown in the picture. I ordered two fog light covers for my lamps. Right on time and I would buy from this seller again.

I haven't had any problems with these at all. Wouldn't hesitate ordering again. Price per set is a bit ridiculous though.

Product made in Australia, and I'm buying from Australia. = =||| Good quality but it's 21 USD ea. It needs some effort to get them onto the lamps since the plastic are of good material. On the package it says do not let the lamps on if the vehicle is stationary. Not sure how much heat will the lamp produce. Be advised that 21 USD only gets one clear shield and you need to buy two if you are shopping for a pair.

I've had the 550's on my vehicle for a couple of months now, and really haven't seen the need for the clear shields during that time frame. I was never driving any distances where I wasn't comfortable just leaving the OME white stone shields off, and worrying about busting my lights. Then I drove half way across the state and had the stone shields on(was during the day)so I wasn't particularly thinking that I would be needing to use my fog lights. Then as Murphy's law would have it, I ran into some pretty bad thunderstorms that all but turned the sky into dark. This is when I saw the true need for the clear stone shields, having the peace of mind that that the lights wouldn't be shattered by any debris, and the option to be able to flick on the lights when needed. The shields go onto the lights just fine, took only about 30 seconds to get them both on. As far as taking them off, I haven't had to tackle that yet, but I don't ever see the point now of taking them off, unless you get something between the cover and the lens. I think this is a definite must have if you have the 550's on your car!

Clear lens covers work as advertised. Installed very tight, I do not see them falling off ever. Rubber pad in the middle keeps about 1/4 inch of airflow between glass and plastic. No distortion, fine product. SO much better than taking off the white covers every time you want to turn on your lights.

They show in pictures two covers but only received one would have been nice to know that if you wanted a pair you needed to order two

These installed very easily on my HELLA 550 fog lamps. I wanted to have protection from stones and other debris while still having access to the lights without having to get out and remove the factory white stone shields. These covers do not seem to inhibit the performance of the lights. However, be aware that this product contains ONLY ONE stone shield. I suppose this is desired if you have an odd number of lights. It would have been nice for this information to be in the product description. This seems to be a bit expensive for just one stone shield; but, if it works, it works, and I'd rather pay about $35 and have more convenient and protected lights than have no stone shields and have to buy another $100 set of lights.

Works great and fits well. I travel a lot on dirt/rough roads and this provides great protection. One piece of advice, do not attempt to install in cold weather. Material does not flex very well. Will be buying a second pair for second set of lights.
